I was a new client and received a cut that was not what I asked for. I requested that the length of my hair be maintained and that it be thinned. At least three inches were cut off and it was thinned too much. They are way too aggressive with people's hair that they don't know. And they didn't ask if what they were doing was ok. My hair is ruined until it grows back.

Easy to book online and everyone was nice. Jeff was my stylist and he gave me a fantastic cut. I waited a couple of weeks to post a review because it's always different maintaining the cut at home but he really did cut it in such a way that it's easy for me to style in the morning and still looks great. I'm definitely coming back for a color and trim.

Maurizio’s Hair Studio is the best in the business! My whole family has been going to him for years. All his stylists are so talented. Mimi highlighted, cut and styled my hair today and it looks amazing! I’ve received so many compliments and it looks healthier than ever. They take good care of your hair and make sure it is managed well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

It would've been an excellent experience except for the fact that the stylist seemed completely confident in achieving the picture I used as a reference. No one I talked to who has received or done colouring agreed that what I got and paid for was a balayage. It is a very nice highlighting job but certainly not a balayage. It is evident how perfectly striped my hair is as seen in picture. Very sad about it. Pinterest photo was reference. Very different styles.

I have curly hair and I got a haircut from Mimi. Once she was done she started styling my hair into more curls without asking me. Now that i think about it she probably did it to cover up the mess. Once i came home showered and flat ironed my hair, i saw the mess that was covered under the curls. I will attach the pictures as they are very self explanatory.
I went back and got my money refunded as i did not trust them to fix it for me! I got my haircut money back but not my $15 tip.

Noella cut/styled my hair. It's been a while since I've had a proper hair cut but with one cut she has converted me to the "regular cut & style" I will definitely go back to her on a regular basis. She talked with me about what I was thinking & made suggestions, she meticulously went over my hair to fix split ends & badly damaged areas. It looks incredible. I am so happy with it. The team is very professional & the price for a cut is very fair.

Over the years I've come to Maurizio's, every one of their staff has been amazing. Very friendly and experts in advice for new styles. My first time going to Maurizio Hair Studio was a disappointment. I booked with Mimi after seeing many reviews of praise, but was not impressed with my take away. I'm a natural brunette and had existing blond and caramel tones of balyage. My request was to lighten the balayage and bring it a bit higher, as it was grown out to my ends. I provided Mimi with a few pictures and an idea of the colors I'd be comfortable with. *posted below with captions.
It wasn't until I got into my car that I had noticed my entire head was colored, from roots to ends.. and how white/yellow the "blond" tones were.
