MCG Counselling is located in Grande Prairie, Alberta and was founded by Marci Copes-Genereux, who is a registered clinical social worker with over ten years counselling and social work experience. In the journey of life, loss and challenges can overwhelm us and prevent us from living the life of peace and connection we desire.
At MCG Counselling, it is my goal to help you heal wounds, achieve lasting change, and find connection and hope for the future. I offer services to individuals, teens, couples and families, and am a trained EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Practitioner.

Services
My professional journey began with a degree in Education from the University of Alberta. After only a year as a teacher, I met a clinical social worker helping children and families with life's emotional and social challenges and realized that was exactly what I wanted to do. I pursued a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Calgary then went on to complete the Master of Social Work program.

Payment is due at the time of the appointment and can be paid by etransfer, credit card, cash or cheque. Many insurance companies provide coverage for counselling services by a Master Social Worker registered with the Alberta College of Social Workers. If you must cancel or reschedule, please provide a minimum of 24 hours notice.
