I really appreciate you providing these opportunities and as I said this morning, I am taking part in more fitness when it's offered in my own home! Thanks for all you are doing to keep us motivated and moving during this challenging time! Right now, I need my work outs everyday. It is as much about my mental heath as my physical health.

For over 25 years, Ariella has been able to help hundreds of women (and a few men) make monumental improvements to their health by giving them the tools they need to increase their energy and lose excess fat while hanging on to the valuable lean muscle, through her specialized classes, individualized personal training, and healthy eating programs.

FitnessWorks is a comfortable women's only facility that caters to all ages and fitness levels. I've been a member of Fitness Works for nearly a year now and just wanted to drop you a line and say how happy I am that I made that decision. Over the years I've belonged to a variety of health organizations, some intense, some fluffy, some worked, some didn't.
Weight loss is highly individual. The simple answer is weight loss is a "calories in vs. calories out" balance sheet. If you consume more than you burn, you gain weight. Even just 200 calories per day (one cookie) over your needs will cause you to gain 20 lbs over the course of a year. On the other hand, if you burn more than you consume, you lose weight.
The best thing you can do is sign up for a free trial. There are no strings attached and one of our fitness coaches will introduce you to our programs and you can decide what works for you. A good guideline is to start slow, 2-3 times a week, and build up to as many as 6-7 days a week depending on your individual fitness goals.

Just took an awesome CPR course with Ariella. It was a fast- paced but very thorough two and a half hour course that covered all the bases! I learned a lot!!

I’ve been a member of fitnessworks for women for over 7 years and I thank the owner Ariella and the gym’s motivating staff for keeping me on this path to fitness. I would not have been able to meet my postpartum fitness goals without the motivation and support from this team. A bright , clean gym for women . An informal place to meet others , exercise , and improve one’s fitness in general. I also enjoy the infrared sauna . Nice helpful staff, too!

I went to Fitness Works for Women a little over a month ago. This was my first time in any gym since my early 20’s. Thirty years later I was on a mission to improve my fitness after losing some weight. I wanted to continue on my weight loss journey but also build muscle and improve my cardio. I felt apprehensive at first but after meeting Shelagh and having an initial conversation I was encouraged to try a couple of classes and machines free of charge before I made any commitment.

I had the pleasure of belonging to Fitness Works while living in The Beach a few years ago! Ariella inspired me to learn to run and with her enthusiasm and encouragement I actually did my first 5 km race! The ladies at this gym are a warm inspiring group under Ariella's guidance.

I have been a member at this fitness establishment since 2009. As a long time fitness enthusiast I can say that joining this gym has been a life changing experience.
The owner Ariella Tsafatinos is a true fitness professional. She is also the best personal trainer I have ever worked with. Under her and her guidance I have achieved many new heights and overcome challenges in my fitness life. I have now run several marathons and a dozen half marathons. I have even become a certified personal trainer myself.

I've been a client of Fitness Works For Women for 4 years. Ariella Tsafatinos is my personal trainer and I can honestly say Ariella and her team at the gym have helped me overcome the physical and emotional challenges of aging. As a woman of 59 years, I've been weight training and running for 4 years and am often mistaken for someone 10 years younger than I am. I would not be the healthy confident woman i am today without this professional, friendly, supportive organization in my life.

I am a long time, (10 years +) client of the gym FitnessWorks and Ariella Tsafatinos, the owner. This is a small gym which focuses on personal care and interaction with it's clients. Although this is a gym for ladies personal training is open to all.
I dropped over 30 pounds over an 18 month stretch, kept it off and under Ms. Tsafatinos' guidance have maintained an excellent level of fitness since then.
A business that has earned more than 10 years of loyalty from it's clients, needs no further endorsement.

Ariella Tsafatininos the owner of Fitness Works for Women does not pay her bills. She was ordered to pay my legal fees from an Ontario court judge after wrongfully accusing ecoenergyreserves.ca of taking her money. Be very careful in giving this women any credit as she does whatever she thinks and not what is right.
