It is recommended that everyone should have a comprehensive eye exam every one to two years depending on their age, health and risk of developing eye problems. 20/20 vision doesn't mean your eyes are healthy. It's just an indication of how well you see. One may have certain diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetes, which in their early stages may not affect vision.
Dr. Calvin Weinryb was born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto. He continued his education at the University of Waterloo, graduating with his Doctor of Optometry degree.
During his studies, Dr. Weinryb was sponsored by the Canadian International Development Agency to provide an outreach program that included free vision care and glasses to under-serviced areas in Jamaica.Dr. Weinryb is fully certified in Ocular Therapeutics for the treatment and co-management of eye diseases.
