Lisa helped advise me during a recent employment law dispute. It was time sensitive and she quickly navigated the various clauses in my contract, the legal precedent, and provides suggestions of how to precede. She also took into account what I personally wanted out of a possible resolution, which I appreciated.

Teryl Scott Lawyers did my will and estate planning for me. It was super easy, I had 1 call to learn about the process and they asked me a few questions about my last wishes. Then I went to the document signing and we reviewed over my last wishes, filled in the blanks on questions I took some time to think about and they completed the rest!

I had a good experience with Teryl Scott through my mediation. Lisa did a great job of informing of the process of mediation across distant (Ontario & Nova Scotia) provinces. My file was quite complex given my financial situation; however, I thought Lisa did a good job of managing expectations throughout the process.
In hindsight, I would recommend we add additional mediation time for more complex situations (like mine), though, I recognize my situation was unique which created a bit of unnecessary rushing at the end. I'd highly recommend this firm and Lisa for any mediation! I would have liked

Lisa Teryl’s guidance with a Small Claims case, that wasn’t actually so small, proved to be on point and indispensable in developing a winning strategy. Her analytical skills and judgement, combined with her creative problem solving, allowed for possible solutions not readily apparent to someone without the knowledge and experience she has. It was certainly worth having Lisa on my side.
