Because the Code Red restrictions have been reduced, I am happy to be meeting with clients in person sessions again. Video, and phone sessions are also available. Just like a pear tree needs love, nurturing, support and understanding to produce fruit, we need the same things to grow flourish and succeed.
Therapy is about community and healing; growing and feeling dynamic. It's about reaching into your roots and feeling solid while also exploring boundaries and reaching out to touch the sky. Every client is different and every client has specific needs that will be met in a way that is collaborative and comfortable, within a supportive atmosphere.

As an experienced marriage and family therapist, I help Manitobans grow and heal from trauma, loss, bad habits, and toxic relationships. I help individuals access their compassion, clarity, and courage, because I believe we each deserve to follow our own inner compass. We need to recharge our batteries when things like anxiety, infidelity, addiction, trauma, or loss get us down.
At Pear Family Therapy, it is my goal to create an environment that is comfortable to heal in. As an experienced family therapist, I help Winnipeggers and other Manitobans overcome traumatic experiences, cope with grief and loss, conquer bad habits and addictions, and free themselves from toxic relationships.
The challenges of life aren't easy and can certainly seem difficult to talk about. I am very much aware of this, so for your first session, I facilitate a calm dialog to help you feel comfortable about opening up and discussing your concerns. I share my work process with you along with the expectations and requirements for our therapy sessions.
Our family is so grateful for the support for our son. Lindsey has a gift in being able to walk alongside families wherever they are on their path, celebrating and understanding neurodiversity from both a clinical and lived experience. Working with Lindsey has been life changing.
My husband and I were at a breaking point in our marriage, we knew we needed serious help however were reluctant to attend because of the financial commitments of regular therapy. After 10 sessions we have come to the realization that no amount of money is more important than the skills necessary to navigate marriage.

Many of us, at some point in our lives, have experienced or will experience a period of anxiety or sadness. Unfortunately for some, these feelings can turn into more chronic or debilitating issues. At Pear Tree Family Therapy, we work to ensure that this won't happen to you. Ignoring feelings of depression can keep a person stuck in the past with feelings of regret, shame, guilt, and remorse.

Lindsey is not a professional happy maker, he is a therapist. His job is not to give you what you want, it is to help you grow and discover for yourself what you need. Life is full of moments that are hard. Lindsey is not in the business of telling you what you want, he’s to the point and recognizes that your investment of time and finances is not to buy a friend, it’s for hard core therapy. Make no mistake, he is kind-hearted, incredibly empathetic and one of the most encouraging people I’ve had the pleasure of having “in my court”.

Taking those first steps to meet a new therapist can be scary. Lindsey creates a safe space for you to be vulnerable while listening with a warm and curious presence. Speaking as a therapist I can appreciate his skilled ability to attune to his clients needs and feel confident referring clients to him knowing they would be in capable hands.
Lindsey also offers a beautifully insightful blog that I have found helpful on more then one occasion as simple reminders of how to navigate life with more clarity and ease.

I highly recommend Lindsey as a therapist. I used him during a difficult phase of my life, and found his guidance to be immensely helpful. He is attentive, empathetic, direct, and wise. He excels at getting to the root cause of an issue. This may not have always been pleasant in the moment, but was of utter importance in helping me navigate through the issues I was dealing with in a positive way.

I would advocate that no matter what shape your relationship is in Lindsey can help you to create a deeper understanding and appreciation for one another.
