All assessment and treatment sessions are one on one and are conducted in a private and supportive environment. Our Therapist has training in performing internal and external pelvic floor assessment and management.
Many women have problems with urinary incontinence and associated bowel problems after childbirth and menopause. Pelvic floor dysfunction can occur anytime during pregnancy, childbirth, or postpartum. There may be symptoms such as urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, sexual dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse and chronic pelvic pain.
Having weak or tight pelvic floor muscles would affect the healthy bladder, bowel and sexual functions in men leading to urinary, fecal incontinence, constipation, and sexual dysfunction. Men's Pelvic Floor physiotherapy and muscle training would help restore the normal function of the pelvic floor, bowel, and bladder.

I've been going to opal physio for about a year..The physio Cynthia is absolutley amazing and knowledgeable, she is never in a rush and has really helped me with a pelvic condition that I have been struggling with for years.I have been to many physios over the years but Cynthia is by far one of the best..the receptionist is extremely friendly and they try very hard to accommodate ...I travel from Maple Ridge to langley once a week to see her, its well worth my commute

January 11/2021 I was hit by a moving vehicle while walking in a parking lot.
For the first month I was barely able to move off my couch.
I started going to OPAL Physiotherapy in February twice weekly. Over a period of time Cynthia Pathipati has helped me regain the ability to walk without a limp and regain most of the motion range in right arm and shoulder. She continues to help me.
Cynthia is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and helpful.
I highly recommend her and her services

I've worked with several physios in the last few years, and made very little to no progress. Cynthia is a miracle worker. Do yourself a favour: just book with her, and don't waste your time and/or money elsewhere.
Unlike most physios, Cynthia doesn't hook me up to a TENS machine and walk out for 15 minutes. She combines hands-on care (muscle stretching, etc) with well-explained exercises to reduce my pain and help me achieve my mobility goals. Definitely 5-star care.

I just wanted to say thanks to Cynthia for all her care. After few treatments my neck and arm mobility improved! She puts together a routine of strength stretching that over time heal my arm, neck and shoulder and eventually make it stronger.
I highly recommend Opal Physiotherapy and Health Clinic to anyone. The friendly front desk staff also make each visit a pleasant experience.

I miss seeing Cynthia and Julianna every week. When I walk in Julianna is always there to chat with. With Cynthia, she really listens to me when I explain to her where it hurts and the chats with her are so cute, I miss them. I love how she does one on one appointments and I have her undivided attention. She was aggressive but gentle with my treatment and really got into my muscles after my accident. I 100% recommend her, and will be going back to her for non-accident related treatment.

Upon every visit, I’m warmly greeted from the sweet and kind Juliana and she always manages to entertain me while Cynthia finishes up with her client. I come in feeling broken and Cynthia, without fail, manages to have me leaving feeling almost completely whole again. She genuinely cares for her clients and forms a bond with them (or me at least, maybe I’m special), always keeping their best interests in mind. Cynthia has helped me greatly throughout my recovery process and has given great at home exercises to help relieve tension/soreness in the moment. Even when Covid-19 began, she was quick

Cynthia is seriously my hero. She is the first physiotherapist I have been to that has a hands on approach and actually makes a plan on how to best achieve the things you want to do! She doesn't just slap a TENS machine on you for 30 minutes - she stretches your body and gives you movements and helps you form better routines for moving your body and recovering your strength. You can instantly tell that she loves what she does. Everyone at Opal has been so immensely friendly and they genuinely care about you. I cannot rave enough about Opal Physiotherapy.

I've been really impressed with Cynthia's hands on approach to my treatment. She is encouraging, caring and very good at her job. There are a few stretches I have to do at home but they are not difficult or onerous. I have noticed a huge improvement in my pain levels, mobility, posture and strength. I would highly recommend her services.
Julianne, on reception, is also very welcoming and friendly. 😊
