Services
Our team of highly experienced physiotherapists are looking forward to helping you with all your aches, pains and injuries. Advanced expertise in functional rehab and manual therapy with a passion for creating individualized specialty programs. The programs I love to engineer incorporate appropriate exercises and recovery plans based on the person's sport, work, and family lifestyle.
I am originally from Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a degree in Exercise Science. I decided to continue my education at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, earning my Doctorate of Chiropractic. While attending school I fell in love with the Pacific Northwest, the mountain and all of the adventures it has to offer.
Alexis is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. He graduated with a D.Sc. O. with honors from the Canadian College of Osteopathy of Montreal, and began practicing Osteopathy in 2012 when he co-founded the Clinique Intgrative d'Ostopathie in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec. Alexis was first exposed to the benefits of Osteopathy as a performance athlete.
Chiropractic is an evidence-informed, non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the musculoskeletal system. Chiropractors practice primarily using their hands, providing diagnosis, treatment and preventive care for disorders related to the spine, pelvis, nervous system and joints.
Osteopathy focuses on how the skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs function as a holistic unit. Osteopaths work on the premise that posture, injury, or negative lifestyle patterns compromise anatomical structure and lead to poor health. As practitioners, they look at the relationship between the structure of the body and the way in functions.

I can't say enough good things about how the team here has helped me through my injury over the past year. For a long time it was quite frustrating that I couldn't get back to my normal activities and then I started working with Chris and he was able to figure the problem out and now I'm back to doing all the activities I love! He's even helping me working through some long standing issues that I didn't even know could be fixed!

So grateful I found Chris to help me with my workplace injury. He was always a step ahead of what the doctors and specialists eventually told me. I'm going to stop telling friends about him as he books up so fast! Office staff Harriet and Kaede are fantastic too, jumping through all the wcb hoops for my treatment. Clean office/covid safe protocols and always on time, lots of (still free!)parking.

I have worked with numerous physio therapists, at various clinics, and Physiofocus Squamish is by far the best! Both of the top two individual therapists I have worked with were from here, Kim and M-H are phenomenal.

I really liked the one on one time, so different when your therapist isn’t seeing 2 or 3 patients at the same time.Marie-Helene was my therapist and she was awesome thank you

I am a professional snowboarder and underwent knee surgery 1 month before my season started. I went to Physiofocus right away letting them know my goals and time frame. Their flexible hours and awesome team of physiotherapists worked around my schedule and got me back on my board just in time for my first planned trip of the season. Look no further, Physiofocus is #1!

After two shoulder surgeries I was unsure if I would ever be able to fully return to my active lifestyle. Physiofocus therapy helped me to restore strength and stability and my shoulders are now better than they had been in 7 years. Great treatment, wouldn't go anywhere else.

Our whole family goes to Physiofocus because we get great results. The staff are professional, caring and go above and beyond for their clients. I am really grateful to Kim for his attention- I did not think I could get back into the sports I love until he began treating me. I would recommend to anyone who wants results, and who is keen to get back into living the life they want!

I was referred to Kim at Physio Focus by my personal trainer for an elbow issue, I was very impressed with how quick and effective Kim was. He takes the time to explain what is going on with your issue and relates to your lifestyle for recovery and strengthening. I would highly recommend Physio Focus for your next injury, because we all know we are going to have one living in Squamish.

I get injured a lot, so I've seen over a dozen physiotherapists. I've never worked with someone who understands snowboarding injuries as well as Kim. There are two physiotherapy offices within walking distance of my house and I drive 30 minutes to see Kim. He's that good.
