I have been a heating contractor in Victoria for over 20 years, so when it comes to heating there is not much I don't know. I service all of Greater Victoria, from Sidney to Sooke and everywhere in between.
All work performed by Matthews Heating is fully warranted: installation of new products is backed by a 5-year warranty, and service and repair work is covered by a 1-year warranty. When you call Matthews Heating, I will return your calls quickly and answer your questions as best I can. I am on-call 24 hours a day in cases of emergency.

Services
My furnace services are catered exclusively towards oil furnaces. I can provide you with the delivery and installation of a new oil furnace, as well as any maintenance and repairs you might require on your old one. I provide services for oil, as well as electric-fueled hot water tanks. As with furnaces, I provide delivery, installation, maintenance and repairs.

I called Matthew's after using another company the last few years. When Matthew's did the annual servicing this Sept, the difference was striking. Josh explained everything, clearly seems to enjoy his work and interacting with customers. The calibre of Matthews customer service was exemplified when I returned home on the Nov long weekend, after being out of town for a month, and found the furnace had gone out. Rick came by within the hour. My furnace has stopped a couple times in the last year but the previous service company never explained it could go off if the power went out or showed me how

I called Matthews and was quoted for a service call plus parts. The oil furnace specialist arrived exactly when they said he would. He politely listened to what I thought was wrong and then proceeded to repair the problem as he saw it. The bill was exactly what I was quoted and the entire experience was far more then I expected. I am writing this on behalf of my parents.
My parents were away during Christmas and got back home late Friday, Dec 29th to find their oil furnace not working. They had called their "regular" furnace guy (who had just serviced it in October) and were waiting for a call back (received a call January 2nd from him).
I did a quick Google search for them and found Matthews Heating and told them to give them a call also. This is now Saturday during the holidays and within a hour or so Rick had called back. He came out later that day and determined it needed cleaning first before it could be serviced
