Darren and Shelley Turner welcome you to Tara Manor Historic Inn. Shelley has worked in the customer service and finance industries for over twenty years, and most recently left her job with the Federal Government to become General Manager at Tara Manor Inn while living on site.

After many years moving with the Canadian Military in Eastern Ontario, the Turners vacationed in St Andrews By-The-Sea in September of 2013 and fell in love with the seaside town.Darren was born in the UK, and moved to the Eastern Townships in Quebec when he was a child. He has traveled extensively during his career with the Military, but one weekend in St. Andrews was all it took to set down roots for the family.

At Tara Manor we are proud of the history of the estate originally known as "Belle-Vue" (beautiful view). Built in 1869 as a summer residence, "Belle-Vue" was part of a much larger estate which stretched across the road to the farm now known as "Clibrig". It was first owned by Sir Charles Tupper, one of Canada's Father's of Confederation.

All guest rooms have private baths, air conditioning, telephone, wireless internet, refrigerators, coffee makers and cable television. Garden View Suites include two Queen beds or one King bed. Our most spacious rooms amid a tranquil setting overlooking our English perennial gardens. These rooms are NOT pet friendly.

Inn Rooms include two double beds or one King bed. Some rooms require stair access. If you have accessibility issues, please advise at time of booking so we can assign you to a ground floor room. All guest rooms have private baths, air conditioning, telephone, wireless internet, refrigerators, coffee makers and cable television.

At Tara Manor, we recognize that your dog is also a member of your family, and all members of the family are welcome. We have a number of Pet Friendly Rooms, and loads of room for your fur babies to run and play. There is no need to leave them behind, while you vacation and explore the Fundy Bay area.
