I work with victims of crime and part of my job is to coordinate companies to install protective measures in the homes of individuals who've experienced terrible things so that they can feel safer in their home. I spoke with a rep through their live chat option, telling them that this was for a victim of crime, and was sent an email reply from customer service saying:

"I kind of want to ignore it ... thank you for your inquiry".

Businesses are free to reject quote requests, but they should do so in a manner that is respectful and understanding. Not dismissively indicating that

They're horrible, service rarely works and we keep getting calls that our system is not working - No Frickin DUH!!! We tried to call and cancel but they make it impossible, telling us they'll call back and they don't and pretending they don't hear us when we call 'Can you hear me?' 'No, I can't hear you' SERIOUSLY.

I called this alarm security system and spoke directly to a rep named Richard. I spoke with him at length, discussing my concerns and alarm needs - we made an appt for him to come over and review the previous system I had and provide a quote as I need a new system. He didn't show up. I gave him a second opportunity, called and asked him to come by again - he didn't show up again, stating he wrote down my address, and both telephone numbers incorrectly. He made no attempt to email me or follow up since. Wow. I've never seen customer service like this. Big ole brutal rating
