Taylor Ross is the founder of TDR Electric. He is originally from Pemberton, BC and completed his electrical apprenticeship in Whistler, BC. After completing his electrical apprenticeship, he received his Red Seal certification from Thompson Rivers University. From there Taylor worked towards gaining the certifications and skills to start and run an electrical contracting business.
He took additional training and received his Field Safety Representative certification and became a Certified Electrical Contractor in Vancouver, BC. Taylor's ability make decisions and being focused on providing excellent customer service is what has helped TDR stand out and thrive in the industry today.

We have used TDR's services for home improvements (light installation) and they were prompt and professional. More recently, TDR has been working with our strata to identify options for Electric Vehicle charging in our complex. They provided our council with an EV Ready Plan which was approved and reimbursed by BC Hydro, and Taylor has helped us immensely in understanding not only the technical aspects of an EV charging system installation but also the requirements under the ever changing rebate system.

The team at TDR has been amazing to work with - I can’t say enough good things about them. When you hire any trade to help you there’s a lot of trust put in them to do what they are asked to do but my experience with them is they go above and beyond and they think outside the box to make the job the best it could possibly be, make it workable for the business and they really take pride in their work. Liam and his team have been professional, helpful, accommodating, and brought ideas for my business I hadn’t even thought about to improve it and I’m so grateful for that!

Very pleased with the service I received from John . He was polite and did really clean work. We had 2 power plugs installed behind our wall mounted TVs . Now we don't have messy cords hanging everywhere!. It was easy to make an appointment with Katerena and the tech John was on time.

I had TDR electric upgrade electric panel and install a vehicle charger. I must say the company is the worst I had seen. the guy made some very stupid wire in the panel and reject me take a photo to show it publicly. and the city inspector takes 4 times to pass their work.

I have had occasion to use TDR twice. Once in my own building where I am Strata President (for one of our owners) and recently in a condo our family owns and rents nearby. I am very satisfied with Taylor Ross' professional attitude, work and follow-through on the last job where we had a short time before new tenants moved in. Previous to calling Taylor, I had another electrician offer two options, both of which were much more expensive than the TDR solution. The electrician sent by Taylor for the service call was efficient and kept me informed of his ETA. He also cleaned up after he was finished

I phoned TDR Electric via Yelp and a real electrician (Taylor) answered the call in real time. What a concept! Not a dispatcher, not a phone menu, but an actual live person; and I didn't have to leave a message for a call-back. I chatted with Taylor about my electrical challenges with a house that we were renting out to a tenant where power was out for kitchen, bathrooms, fridge, stove and washer/dryer. He came to house a short while later, the same day to clear the problem up. It ended up being a bit more complicated as we got BC Hydro involved, but, after another visit, problem solved and

I found and contacted TDR via Yelp and Taylor was back to me within the hour. He was able to set up a service call to install a ceiling fan on short notice. Aaron arrived on schedule and his inspection showed that the electrical box and its mounting was not strong enough to hold the weight of the fan unit. He reinforced the mounting and installed the new box and fan. His concern for safety was much appreciated as was his courteous and professional nature. Would definitely recommend.

We called TRD Electric to get some help with the wiring for our kitchen upgrade recently. On short notice Ross was available to come to our home at a time convenient to our schedule. He called us ahead of time from the wholesaler to confirm parts we needed, which ended up being a huge time saver as he brought up a few items we hadn't considered. If not for his foresight, the work would have been delayed and set us back. Ross arrived and got straight to work. He reviewed our plans, asked relevant questions and even provided some good suggestions to improve on our ideas. We were very happy
