Beach Rocke Engineering Ltd. (BRE) is a Manitoba based consulting firm, specializing in structural design and engineering. In 2005 the company was purchased by John Rocke, P. Eng., at which time he renamed the firm from P.A. Beach and Associates, to Beach Rocke Engineering Ltd. Currently, the firm is equally owned by the principals, John Rocke, P.Eng., and Roman Hudon, P.Eng.

So far I have been dealing with John by email and all the replies have been very prompt, and several well after what I could consider normal business hours. No issues at all.

I was planning some home renovations and wanted to open up the upstairs by removing a supporting wall, the engineer visited my house and checked it out and came up with an acceptable plan. While he was working on them I ran across another problem with some floor structure in the main bathroom that meant I needed a second permit to apply the required structural changes, they were able to check my plans and stamp them and the city, eventually, approved the drawings and issued me a permit.
As a side note, the main drawings for the upstairs were rejected by the city due to a change in what they wanted

Prompt and professional service. An engineer was available the same day to do a site visit and the drawings were completed within a couple of weeks. Note there is an additional charge if using mastercard or visa.

I was recommended by a restoration company to hire John Rocke at Beach Rocke Engineering LTD. When I initially called the office for John to come do an assessment he said he would come take a look, one month went by and I hadn't seen or heard from him. After calling his office to follow up he finally showed with his associate, Percy. Following their evaluation I asked for a report of the findings for litigation purposes and after waiting another month with no communication from John or his company I contacted his office again only to be told it would take 3-4 additional weeks to receive my report
