SI Alarms was founded in 1999 by Owner and CEO Joey Putaro, and has grown to a full-scale, COR certified operation with a leadership team from a diverse array of electrical trades & industries. We are a one stop-shop low voltage integrator, providing end-to-end product and service installation for events, homes, commercial and large-scale non-commercial facilities.
We work with a wide array of contractors, from electrical companies to architectural and engineering firms. With expertise at every step along the design phase, we build reliable camera networks for home and business. We provide on-site consultation services to Winnipeg business owners, project & property managers.

My first contact with SI Alarms was in June when I booked them to perform an annual fire alarm inspection at a rental property. They booked me an appointment for July 2nd and I provided them with instructions to enter and access the property as they requested, since I wouldn’t be present.
After returning to the property on July 2nd, it seemed like no one had stopped by. I called SI Alarms to confirm wether or not the inspection took place and I was told they would check with the staff and call back. I didn’t hear back the following day so I called again. I sent a quote request leaving all my contact info and received an automated response that someone would contact me within 48 hours. 3 days later I hadn't heard back so I called and asked to speak to someone in sales. I was transferred to someone's voicemail, left a message indicating I had been trying to talk to someone and to please call me back regarding both home monitoring and surveillance. It has been over a week now and no response. I expected better customer service, but find myself deeply disappointed.. this is all coming during a time when there have been a spike of break-ins in my area
