I called using the EAP program from work. Was told there was no conflict of interest at 9:30 when they entered the information. Was called back at 2:00 after them finding out I used the EAP 25% discount and was told there is now a conflict.
STAY AWAY!!!!!

I contacted Cohen Highley LLP today and was told I would get a call from a legal representative who would be able to assist me further. Well I got the call however the lady I spoke with was anything but helpful. I was told that they aren’t taking legal aid clients at this time. Then the lady asked if I still wanted to give her my information…….. meaning if I wasn’t using legal aid she’d be able to help me. Way to only care about the cash. Legal Aid is there to help people such as myself(single mother on disability) who don’t have much money but still deserve a fighting chance. After

Wanted a lot of money just to come in and discover if I even had a case to present in court. Radio ad made it seem friendly and helpful but I found neither of those things applied. I was expecting to pay up to be represented but I didnt expect to have to pay 350 dollars to get what I assumed could be handled in a 2 minute phone call.

Watch these guys. As if going through a divorce isn't hard enough you gotta worry about getting billed after they said they'd give you more time to pay.
The financial person Denise was excellent though.
My problem is Ian sneddon said "if you need more time to pay that's fine". My first bill was $2795.80, a month later another bill came in $2903.55. the charge was for an advisement phone call they said was free, I even have the email and picture of that being said. Also got the feeling he wanted to drag this into court so they could make more money.
They clearly just care about taking your money

The worst lawyer experience we had ever, We were going through so many problems already trying to evict tenant who was not paying rent and doing illegal activities. We went to Cohen highley for help but they also spam you with your money. Took all our money and do nothing. We try to call many times but they were not responding.

I hired a couple paralegals from Cohen highley to assist me in evicting some tenants from a rental property. they were helpful when they in the advice they gave if, and when they would reply to you. I would have given them a good review, however when I took the tenants to the tribunal for the damages the tenants caused, with them representing me and me as a witness, I was shocked to hear that the issue was out of the adjudicators jurisdiction. I waited 2 AND A HALF MONTHS for the tribunal to tell me that my complaint wasn't in their jurisdiction and I had to withdraw my case or have it thrown out

I have been in and out court over the same small claims issue now for over 5 years and I just wanted it to come to an end so that I could move on. My lawyer in Sarnia does not do litigation and she recommended C.H. to me. Jimmy Ding called me regarding my concerns a couple months ago and he got on top of my issue quickly and gave me the advice I needed to hear. Today I received a satisfactory settlement and now IT'S DONE!!! Way to go Jimmy! Professional, Calculated and Quick! I am really impressed at how Jimmy handled this situation and I will be asking him for help again should I need a lawyer

They highly advertise in radio yet refused to help me with my case. It only took them 2 days after a student named Michael took very little info of the case by phone to refuse to help. My call was also transferred the third time. Michael was also a racist as he asked where I’m from, not knowing I’m a Canadian citizen. My case was against a property manager who fraudulently collects money from tenant and doesn’t pay the homeowner.
