If I could give minus 5 stars I would. This was the worst experience from any company that I have ever had. I can understand why the virus is spreading when you have to fight for 1 week to ask if a paper can be given outside rather than walk through a Walmart store into the small tiny cubicle with no air circulation. I was told by Michael "I am not forcing you to come inside, but if you don't, you can't have the papers". I was told by Ann when I asked to speak to the manager "The manager doesn't like to use the phone". I could go on and on but it would end up

Absolute bunch of incompetent people working here. They closed my mortgage and didn't notify the utility company and I was billed for three more months after closing the mortgage and had moved out. I even contacted the utility company myself and got the closing process going and forwarded Axess the email and they still couldn't even do their job and notify the utility provider. I notified Axess law after I saw the second month of being charged and they still did nothing about it and I got charged a third month and the utility provider wont refund the money, they said Axess law has to

Our entire experience with Axess law was very frustrating. I don’t usually leave reviews but I don’t know what else to do. We had used them in the past and had a positive experience, so we were hoping for the same this time. However what we ended up paying was not what we were quoted and they pointed to the finest print to explain the discrepancy. They did not secure our all our keys for us, our lovely agent ended up doing that for us. There were past owing taxes that they didn’t communicate we needed to pay and now we owe Interest. They stopped responding to our attempts to contact them

My wife and I utilized Axess Law for creating our mirror wills and POAs. The process was extremely efficient and simple. The entire team was quick to respond to any questions or concerns throughout the entire process and were very professional. Being able to do the initial meeting virtually is also extremely helpful. The entire meeting took just over an hour for both my wife and I. It was then about another 30 minutes to actually go to their office to get the documents signed and witnessed. Unfortunately there is no rating less than 1 star. As someone who works in the mortgage industry, I have no words for how incompetent this group is. They leave urgent matter until the last minute and have cost my clients thousands of dollars. Their team is unresponsive and do not seem to care about their clients wellbeing. I would recommend that if you're buying a home or have clients who are, do not use Axess Law.

Definitely one of the worst experience dealing with Axess Law's real estate team.
1. For one real estate transaction, expect to speak to 6-7 people. Their people are constantly leaving them.
2. Dont expect them to be responsive - try calling them as a client. You will never get through.
3. Real estate law clerks make frequent mistakes on the files from spelling errors to getting other details wrong.

I made an appointment to have a notary signature for a will I had received, after seeing that was one of their services advertised. I made the appointment Tuesday night for Thursday morning, and received a call at 9:30 am Wednesday morning wondering why I had not uploaded the documents yet for the next day-also asked what it was for. I explained what I needed a notary for(which I also specified when making the appointment)-no problems stated at that time. I do not recommend this firm up Les you are *specifically* going for notary services. The notary department is great.
However we also used the firm for buying our first home.
When I asked a question about our appointment, I did not receive a response. I received an email stating that I had a new appointment and… date (that didn't actually exist). And had to email again to receive any human response.
We provided all documentation stated in the email and were asked multiple times for additional unlisted documentation.
We asked for a specific lawyer for our closing

I was referred by my broker. I have not talked to the lawyer but only lawyer clerk, and on the appointment date which is 2 days before closing, a random person came to the appointment... The contact has wrong date on all signed page, unbelievable! The person threaten to us and said nothing we can do and then called the lawyer clerk after I lost my temper..... What was ridiculous, the same person call us the next day and told us medical card is not acceptable for photo ID. My wife have to go to their office and presented the driver license... The broker has requested some financial reimbursement

I have been wanting to get a Will and Power of Attorney done for so long. Before Christmas, Axess sent an email for a great price to do it over Zoom. The Zoom meeting with Walter was on time, and he was very professional. In just over an hour we had everything laid out, and within a week I was able to go pick up my completed Will. All I had to do was sign the Forms. I am so glad I accepted this offer. Now I have peace of mind, and have referred Axess to a few of my Family Members and Friends. I found everyone we spoke to at Axess Law to be friendly and responsive and they even honored a price match. The reason they are only getting 3 stars is I felt their was a lack of attention to detail, a few mistakes made which resulted in me having to resign some documents and even noticed on the statement that we were charged the incorrect price (not the price match which was agreed on). I did have to point out the error but it was promptly corrected so ultimately I was happy with that. As buying and selling a home is one of the biggest financial decisions, I just would have liked more attention

According to my father, who went to the meeting alone, as per their instructions, it was almost a utter waste of time and money. Unless you want absolutely minimal service, not ask any questions, not ask for anything else other than the standard requirements, not consult any notes, hand over your money, then Axess Law is perfect for you. My father is over 80, in full control of his faculties, but the 'lawyer' he got told him he cannot consult any notes, cannot make any requests regarding his estates other than the standard, cannot ask any questions that he does not want to answer, just

We used Axess Law to notarize numerous documents for the sale of a Florida property. They were efficient, polite and the process was easy. I liked that the staff looked like they were down to earth people there to do a job and not out to spend a lot of time and money on useless corporate image. Do not use this company!!! My 83 year old mother made an appointment to do her will. They required a deposit of $33.89 over the phone. When she got there, they would not accept her I.D. after they told her they would over the phone. They apologized and said that they would put the request to refund her deposit through to head office. Two months later no refund. She called and they gave her the run around. She tried to open a case with Visa for the money, and Visa can not open a case for deposits given over the phone. They know this. This is an unethical company. Stay away!!!

I hired Axess to handle a simple house purchase that closed February 15th. I found their services to be extremely lax and poor in terms of level of care and client service. I followed up with them on March 21, 2019 as I was informed by my bank that the previous mortgage had not been discharged. I was told by Axess that it could take up to 3 months and there was nothing I or they could do. I was told that they would notify me as soon as the previous mortgage was discharged. Excellent service. Went for a will and post. The lawyer went to great lengths to ensure we understood the implications of what we had decided. Great attention to detail. The firm has been undergoing some restructuring lately and is now run solely by the female partner. The result is heightened professional customer service and strict attention to detail. (We used them in the past for a real estate transaction, which was not as satisfying.) Very friendly staff and excellent value. Highly recommended.

This was my worst experience ever! The only time I got a timely reply from the lawyer/owner was the first time when he was trying to recruit business. Everything after was a mess. We met at the Richmond Hill office a few days prior to closing and there was no privacy at all. We waited for 45 minutes because the documents were not ready. There was another lawyer at the office and he didn't even bother to greet us. After the clerk did the paper work he just stamped.
