Focus Physiotherapy was founded on a principle of placing the needs of the patient and the proper practice of the profession of physiotherapy above all else. Focus Physiotherapy offers many complementary services, in addition to traditional physiotherapy, to speed and enhance your recovery. Starting with physiotherapy intervention, our Registered Physiotherapists will create a treatment plan to optimize your recovery.
Within that treatment plan, we will determine if a sports medicine approach is necessary, if there is a need for electrical modalities or laser therapy, if lumbar traction or decompression could alleviate symptoms or if there is a need for biomechanical devices, such as custom knee braces or custom foot orthotics, which address problems with stability and gait.

The journey that brought me here began in 1996 when I became a physiotherapist who wanted to help people recover from injuries. That desire led me to want to do better, and open up my own clinics. Over the years my motivation to move the needle and provide better care in physiotherapy clinics across the.
Under the supervision of the Physiotherapist, Jean executes the individualized treatment plan for each client in a caring, attentive manner. She inspires clients to actively participate in and complete their rehab program. She continues to develop her technical and hands on skills from in-house training.

The best Physiotheraphy clinic in Mississauga. Richard (physiotherapist), Jean and the whole staff makes a good team.
I was suffering from knee pain for months and I was told by my previous physiotherapist that I just have to learn to manage the pain because it will not go away. Richard proved them wrong. After only five sessions the pain on my right knee is gone and I’m back to doing my normal activities without my knees bothering me. Thanks Richard and to the whole Focus clinic in Mississauga.

I've taken my son on his Orthopedic Dr. referral to this physiotherapy clinic, to get therapy for his knee injury, ACL-strain, not knowing what to expect, being to some other physio clinic, thought to give it a try, to my surprise, from the first day the therapist told my son after initial assessment that he sees problems with the way he walks and run, gave him tips how to fix them, and he got the treatment as well, the staff is very professional and feignedly, after the 3rd visit the pain on my son's knee started diminishing, after the 5th visit, the pain is completely gone, and the therapist

I am beyond amazed with the care, service and results I received at Focus Physiotherapy. I came in for major right wrist pain and after 2 weeks of Physio and Laser treatment I am almost back to my old self again. I can now do day to day stuff with little or no pain! Richard and Jean are very knowledgeable and took the time to really listen. I am continuing my treatment here and highly recommend to others!!

I must admit, I was sceptical with how physiotherapy would help with my knee pain. I am thrilled to have been proven wrong. After only the first session, I noticed a significant difference. The exercises provided, to be done at home have also played a large part in my recovery. I look forward to my appointments not only for the pain relief but, to be in a healthcare facility with such caring professionals.

I am glad that finally I found one of the best physiotherapist (Richard) in Mississauga. I like the TEAM WORK of Focus Physiotherapy. Most importantly, how they make client feel good about themselves. I had a backache and couldn’t do my regular activities but now I could perform almost everything and my mental stress has been greatly reduced. Thank you for ALL your help and support. Focus Physiotherapy helped me get through a painful experience back in 2012/13 when part of my calf muscle was torn. I could barely walk without the use of crutches until I’d received a couple of weeks of therapy and, within another few weeks, I was walking normally and happy to be back at work.
