We are a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to providing quality and affordable child care for children ages 13 months to 12 years. The Centre is governed by a volunteer board of Directors. As an Early Learning Centre, we ensure that the children are receiving the care that supports their optimal development in a Learning Through Play Environment.

Services
The Centre serves the Edmonton community and all children are welcome. We are proud of our ethnic diversity which makes our Centre distinctive. We support children's diversity and are committed to being fully inclusive. The daily programs at Lansdowne Child Care and Family Centre reflect the developmental needs and interests of all children.
Our certified cook provides nutritious breakfasts, lunches and an afternoon snack in compliance with the Canada Food Guide. Lansdowne Child Care and Family Centre provides quality enriched educational programming based on our learning through play philosophy for children of all Cultures and Ability Levels.
Positive parenting workshops assist families in their role as parents and provides them the tools they need to deal with various behaviors in a positive manner. Workshops are provided throughout the year in the evenings between 5:30-8:00 pm. A light supper and child care are provided. Information and resources are provided to families who need extra help in their daily life.

I have 1 child who attended here for both daycare and then out-of-school care, and a younger child currently in the daycare. It has been a great place for both of them. The staff and management are concientious and personable. There are great outdoor spaces and playgrounds. The out-of-school program was especially convenient, as it was literally in the same building as Lansdowne Elementary school. I've had a very positive experience with this daycare.

My two year old twins boys started in this daycare just over two months ago and we all love it! They have so many activities every day and go out to play outside regularly, the food is great, the staff are amazing with kids, teaching them so many things, treating them with so much care and love. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone. The wait list is long, but it was worth it for us and worked out well in terms of timing.
