Our goal is to introduce novice drinkers to exciting houses and varietals that are outside the regular medium. For the more seasoned palate, we hope to excite your desire with an approachable list of reserves, also hand selected by our sommelier.

Tap restaurant is on of the top restaurants in South Surrey/White Rock. It is one of the only restaurants in the area that can compete with the high end restaurants of downtown.
This is the place you go to mark an occasion, or impress someone special. It only serves a handful of people at a time, so a reservations is a must. Inside you will be sitting within a stones throw of the open kitchen.
Come ready to eat all three courses, and if you can, add a fourth. Each item for each course is a culinary masterpiece. The restaurant produces consistent food that meets the grade every time.

I love Tap! Located on the border of White Rock/South Surrey, Tap is one of my favourite spots. Their menu is extensive with everything from tappas/appies, to sablefish, duck confit, and delicious deserts. I have tried so many things on their menu and all were delicious.
Ingredients are sourced locally and the food is always hot, bursting with delightful flavours.
The service is always great and the staff are helpful and friendly.
There is also a great wine menu, making it a great restaurant for a date night!
Note: Tap is closed on Monday and Sundays.

Wow! Hands down the best meal we’ve had since moving to Surrey. I’m a self professed foodie, and my husband surprised me by taking me to this gem of a restaurant tonight. From the amazing staff (the GM was on point so much I thought he was an owner, and our phenomenal server Kirsten) who took such good care of us to the decadent and delicious courses, I would recommend this to anyone wanting a special meal, and will certainly be back SOON! 5 stars from this pregnant Momma! 💖 Thank you Tap!!

This continues to be my favourite restaurant in South Surrey and even rivals some of the best places in Vancouver. The food and wine are always exceptional, however what really makes this place stand apart is its service. The staff always go above and beyond to make your meal memorable. When I couldn't decide what wine to pair with my meal, the waiter brought out four bottles for me to try (the wine here really is amazing). When my husband didn't know the proper way to eat spot prawns, the owner came to our table for a live demo. When my girlfriends and I lingered beyond closing, we were treated

The staff here make the experience at this restaurant unbelievable. I only had drinks and appetizers, but WOW!! Everything was really good and looked to pretty to eat or drink. My water glass was always full and our server was amazing. Upon coming in, everyone we were greeted by had a huge smile on their face making the ambience so lovely. I will definitely be back. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

Last night our extended family, three couples and a single, had its first meal out since the pandemic started. We chose the Tap Restaurant and didn't regret it. There are still very few tables inside, but there is a large covered patio. Since the weather was good it was crowded, but we had a reservation (recommended). It was hard to choose what to eat as so many things on the limited menu looked interesting. Two us had the rack of lamb special, one had the duck leg confit, one the beef tenderloin, one the halibut and one had the short ribs. All of us chose to start with a Caesar salad and

Lin cod was perfect, better than Joe Fortes. The beat salad is refreshing and you can taste all the ingredients. Service was also very good. The wait staff know the food and drink menu and are very helpful. I can’t give five stars as the decor and furniture doesn’t fit the food and create the right atmosphere. Food is five star and the decor is strip mall.

Went for the first time with a couple friends on a busy Saturday night. We had reservations for 8 o'clock and when we arrived the restaurant was packed and we had to wait for a few minutes before they had our table ready. They were very attentive while we were waiting and actually brought a couple appies and a tasting of some red wine, which was a nice touch. Once seated we liked the cozy environment, tables were tightly packed into the modest sized restaurant. For the appetizers my wife tried the Sambuca prawns and I tried the terrine. The prawns were very tasty but only four in the serving

Came here on short notice, reviews looked good and thought we'd give it a go. We shared everything as we thought it was a tapas restaurant....not so much. The mussels were delicious but I felt a bit pricey. The beet salad was a little disappointing. The risotto with add scallops was tasty but a bit runny, maybe too much butter. Overall the food was decent but not great. My old fashion was top notch though.
The decor and ambience is pretty lacking. I described it to my wife as feeling like a hotel restaurant. They need to improve this in my opinion.
They do have a back portion of the restaurant

First impressions were great, live music, nice waitress and waiter, and good smelling food. We ordered French Onion soup, Okanagan Elk, Duck Leg, Seafood Risotto, Lava Cake and was not (majorly) disappointed. The French onion soup was a bit too sweet for my taste but the elk meat was great, sweet and sour, and only slightly over my expected amount of cheese. The bread with the French Onion soup was great, the bread was properly buttered and had properly applied garlic. Then the entrees came, and here is where this place drops from five to four stars, the duck leg was mainly good, but there was

Don't let the address fool ya, this is one of the most desirable parts of Surrey to live in, just the well-heeled need to apply here but I digress, as usual.
Rep speaks for itself, it's an awesome fine dining experience without the attitude. A bit intimate but can be livened up in the gorgeous summer when I found out this jewel, with its outdoor patio.
Kinda in a residential area but on this block, there's a few kids daycare, etc.
Loved their puff pastry, my go-to.

We came here for Valentine's Day. We had our reservation at 5:45pm and to our surprise the restaurant was pretty much filled when we got there.
We ordered the set menu and a bottle of wine for the night. The food was very delicious and portions were good.
Service was quick. Interior was modern and clean. I would recommend this place.

We came for dinner with the family on a Saturday night. This place seems like a popular spot and neighborhood gem so I would make reservations just in case (they're on open table).
I picked this place as I heard the head chef (Alistair Veen) won 2016 sommelier of the year in BC so I figured the guy must have a pretty good palate for food as well.
The restaurant is easy to find, easy to park and beautiful inside. You can really tell this is the chef's baby. What's nice is that he also goes around table to table talking to his guests and providing service which isn't common

An unexpected little gem in Rosemary Heights.
The ambience is quite nice and posh; I liked the open kitchen concept in the middle of the restaurant.
The service was top notch too with the servers coming around frequently to fill up our water glasses.
As for the food, I had rack of lamb and the hubby has the pasta special with prawns. Both dishes were quite tasty. We had their gnocchi as appetizer and it was a good portion as an appie to be share by 2 people.
We also shared lava cake and their version of lemon meringue. I am a big fan of lava cake and their lava cake was flowing with a warm

Had such high hopes for this restaurant--It is close to home, came recommended by a neighbour, and had good reviews here on yelp. But, it was very disappointing :(
We both ordered the bisque to start (those were good and the reason we are giving TAP 2 stars and not 1), and then my husband had the rack of lamb and I had the steak. I ordered it medium and it came so rare that I couldn't even eat it all. I ate the sides and left the centre piece on my plate. Similarly, my husband's lamb was nearly raw. He couldn't eat it all either! Dessert was equally terrible. My husband had the

Yum! Love and reccomend this place. I always appreciate a restaurant that focuses on fresh seasonal ingredients. The waiter was very accomodating and the food was delicious. The only thing I would critique is the food was a bit too salty for my taste, I have a very sensitive palette. But my friend loved it and thought the level of salt was fine. I had the duck confit and it was perfectly cooked, fall off the bone and very juicy with a crispy skin. I didn't care much for the golden beets though. HIGHLY reccommend the flambee puff pastry to start, again, a bit too salty for my taste but still
