Services
1200 hour diploma - Full-time (eligible to apply with completed 1st certificate from a recognized massage program). We offer in-person and distance learning opportunities. As an Alberta Institute of Massage student, you may select the program that best suits your goals. Once you have a foundational Certificate or Advanced Diploma, all of our workshops are available to add skills and specialty to your massage career.
At the Alberta Institue of Massage, we believe strongly in preparing our graduates of the 1000-hour Certificate Program with a strong education base that goes far beyond relaxation training. Anatomy & Physiology - all of the body systems are included with more emphasis being placed in the skeletal, muscular, nervous, and circulatory systems.
Course information is delivered during the onsite sessions at the school and supplemented with take-home assignments, research projects, and practicum hours during the weeks in between training sessions. Quizzes, exams, presentations, and practicums are completed during the training weekends. Classroom hours are from Friday to Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., one weekend per month with one additional six-day session during the program.

The treatments are performed by our students at very reasonable rates and are an integral portion of their training in proficiency. Our Student Clinic massages are delivered in a classroom setting that has been designed to provide a relaxing, soothing, and learning atmosphere for both the student practitioner and the client.

This school has to be one of the best experience of my life!
There was always an instructor during class or after class to help answer any of my questions. Still today years later they still support me and help with my on going education. My second year instructor I still message often for advise and she is so prompt in returning my message.
I would 100% recommend this school.
