Dalewood Golf Club is a semi-private year round facility offering the amenities of a prestigious urban club, located in Northumberland County. Dalewood was designed by renowned golf course architect Robbie Robinson and opened in 1974. Dalewood features a par 71 championship course with tee selections that offer a wide variety of playing yardages.
The golf course offers great conditions and the natural hazards make it a very challenging game of golf. Dalewood also boasts the most scenic banquet facility in the area; the Great Hall can accommodate up to 175 people and is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows offering splendid views of the golf course and countryside.

Dalewood Golf Club upon its inception was the only facility of its kind in the area. The clubhouse was constructed to compliment the natural beauty of the location as well as allow its members to enjoy the facilities and spectacular views by surrounding the building with floor to ceiling windows.

Dalewood Golf Club is located north of Port Hope and Cobourg, just 30 minutes east of Oshawa. It is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by renowned Canadian architect C.E. Robbie Robinson. Dalewood is a par 71 course offers a well groomed picturesque setting with over 50 bunkers and 3 ponds located on the course, with Gages Creek coming into play on 8 holes.
Dalewood's all turf range is open to the public. During the 2021 season, golfers who would like to take advantage of the range will need to book an hour time slot ahead of time to enjoy one of the 4 dedicated bays for practice only. These bays are spaced 8 feet apart to comply with social distancing.
All of the below memberships include house chitting privileges (with a valid credit card on file), 7 day advanced booking privileges & access to our locker rooms. Unlimited Memberships also include a locker in their fee as well as reciprocals to other clubs if we have tournaments or events that prevent them from playing those days.
When you purchase pre-paid packages they are based on rounds. For example, if you come with a foursome to play, each member will be charged for 1 round. If you have purchased a pre-paid package that money can be moved towards a regular golf membership, or towards a simulator membership for the following year.

Our family was recently part of the Finn/Rossi wedding which happened October 8th.
From the rehearsal party, to the beautiful outdoor ceremony, to the incredible setup and meal for the wedding, everything was perfect.

My wife and I celebrated our wedding ceremony & reception at Dalewood, and we absolutely loved this venue. From their professionalism and promt communication, to their honest and experienced opinions and suggestions, to making sure that we are happy and content every step of the way, are only some of the things that set them apart from other… wedding venues.
What also sets them apart from other venues are their willingness to work within your budget, locally sourcing food from farmer's in the area, and allowing outside vendors of your choice to accomodate your food preferences.

Played Dalewood for the second time yesterday. Worst golf experience ever. Other than the kid working the carts, who was fantastic, the staff in the pro shop and his staff were extremely rude. They punched the front nine and the greens were un-puttable. Had to play the front nine twice because they were punching the back nine. We waited over an hour to play and the practice green was closed. I went to practice putt on the 18th hole which was being punched later in the day and I was told to get off the green. I guess my footprints would affect the punching of the greens. Really! Course has a good

Sorry to say I found Dalewood to be pretty boring as far as golf courses go. No elevation changes at all, and apart from the odd creek on your drives, nothing much to write home about to be honest. nice people and a well kept course. Just not challenging at all. Go to Black Diamond and be challenged!!

We had our wedding reception at Dalewood and we couldn’t have been more impressed with their space! Jen (their Chef/ coordinator/ wedding superstar) went above and beyond in order to make our day perfect (and tasty!). Time and time again she was a step ahead of any issues that cropped up with vendors and handled our changing guest list without batting an eye. Great people, beautiful facility, and really awesome food.

Central location, best maintained course in the County, friendly staff, available affordable tee times. Pleasure to play, and great spot for 19th hole! I play at least 3 times a week. Love that I have a locker and can leave my clubs there. I certainly appreciate they are shined and ready for my next round!
