Golfers new to Heron Landing are constantly surprised by what our 18 hole executive course has to offer. Many don't expect a 4,100 yard layout of par 3s and 4s to be so well-conditioned, scenic and challenging. These impressions are created by high greenskeeping standards, yearly course improvement projects and the natural beauty of 114 acres of Peterborough countryside.
And with 18 holes playable in four hours, and the option of doing 9 holes, a round at Heron Landing leaves time in your day for other things. We also pride ourselves on paying attention to detail. We go beyond superb course conditions - you'll see this in our comfortable clubhouse, in our gardens, and in the friendly professionalism of our staff.

Services
For beginner players, forward tees allow for ten par 3s measuring 92 to 137 yards, meaning there are several opportunities to hit the green and score well. Even on our par 4s, the landing areas are generous. For advanced players, the blue tee decks measure 4128 yards. While eight par 4s measuring 265 to 389 yards get your driver out of your bag, it is your short game that will be challenged at Heron Landing.
Play on greens, not on screens! This program is designed to get families on the course at an affordable price. From opening until the end of the season, one child under the age of 18 plays for free with each paying adult in the group after 4pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Play at your own pace and have fun with your kids in a family-friendly environment.
You are going to need something fun to do when the stay-at-home order is lifted. Heron Landing is proud to be the host course of a new learn/practice/play program for adults who dream of being "less bad at golf." Small groups, an instructor who will make the swing you have better, and a weekly round of 9 holes are just three reasons to check out www.bogeyschool.com.

I've been here many times and the course condition is terrible this year. I understand that this isn't Augusta National, but the greens are longer than most fairways (incredibly slow), and the rough is mostly just weeds and dead thatch. This was a great course to get your first couple of rounds in at the start of a season, but in it's current condition you're better off hitting a couple baskets at a range.

Absolutely love this course. The driving range is great for warming up, and the staff are always extremely nice and accommodating. We played the back nine holes later in the day and we were able to relax and not have to worry about being rushed by staff. I realize this might not be the go-to for expert golfers, but it's great for people like me that want to go out there, play some golf and be in a relaxed atmosphere.

Great little course! Would give it 5 stars if there cart rentals weren't too expensive. A couple of the holes are really far apart so when you walk about 2 or 3 of the holes are about a 3 minute walk apart. Other then that course is usually in great shape and fun to play. It is smaller but you can use your driver on majority of the holes! There driving range is great!
