Services
Regular wellness exams allow your veterinarian to evaluate your pet's general health and become aware of any health problems before they become serious illnesses. Since your pet cannot vocalize his feelings, you must rely on regular physical examinations by a veterinarian and your at-home observations to assess your pet's health.
At Golf Links Veterinary Hospital, it's important to us too. Below you will find some helpful articles tailored to the health and well-being of your pet. While the information below is not inclusive of every pet issue, we hope we covered a few key areas of concern you may have regarding your pet. If you have further questions or concerns about your pet's current health, please don't hesitate to contact us to set up an appointment soon.

A dog I know had a medical emergency and so we called this vet. They began to say that even though the dog was at a VERY HIGH risk, they were “fully booked”. In my opinion this is EXTREMELY unprofessional considering these situations are what these staff are trained for. Thankfully we found another animal hospital, and the dog was okay. Will not be coming back here.

This is a great vet. He's personable, friendly and the way he talks with the animals is awesome. When we see him its always been pleasant and we leave knowing exactly what's wrong and how to fix any issues our dog Rayna has. Thank you Dr.Pittaway

I go annually to pick up flea/tick medication. My little guy had and emergency (turns out it was diabetes/ pancreatic infection)and when I called they said the Doctor would give me a call back. Because I hadn't taken my dog to the clinic for issues (he has been very healthy) I was told he wasn't considered a patient. The only question I was asked was how many milligrams of water was my dog drinking per kilo. I measured and he said sorry I cannot help you. Left us hanging to call another clinic who were very helpful and quite quick. My dog is stable thanks to the other clinic. Not only is this clinic

I have been taking my dog Max here for over 3 years approximately and I have never had any issues with the veterinarians. They take very good care of him. They always explaining what is happening, and offer options and recommendations on care rather than just saying "here give these to your dog and he'll be fine". The front desk ladies are wonderful and very accommodating. If needed, they do their best to fit Max in if I feel it cannot wait. If I am unsure of what to do, I explain the issue to them and, while staying on the phone, they quickly ask the doctor what the recommendation would be, and
