In a community that has seen dynamic changes in the past 25 years, it can be hard to find a familiar and friendly face. In order to achieve our goal we need to physically examine your pet at least once annually and get feedback from you on any health or behavioral issues as soon as they appear.

Services
Rockland Veterinary Hospital provides complete veterinary services for your canine and feline friends. We strive to offer you the best possible care to ensure your pet is happy and healthy. We strongly recommend an annual comprehensive physical with blood-work to detect any medical problems early and get them corrected as quickly as possible.
Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
If you're thinking of getting a pet fish, you should know that your veterinarian has a lot of good advice about pet ownership. Fish can be very rewarding as pets, and you just may be surprised about how much fish actually interact with their owners. Thanks to advancements in veterinary care, today's cats can live well into their teen years.
Veterinary care is crucial and effective for a wide variety of conditions. The following is a partial list of some of the most common. If you do not see your pet's specific condition listed, we encourage you to give us a call so we can personally address your particular concerns.

Over 85% of dogs and cats have some type of periodontal disease. Periodontal disease simply means that the gums and bone that hold the teeth in place are being destroyed by oral bacteria. This preventable disease is the number one diagnosed disease in our pets, yet many animals suffer needlessly. Bloat and gastric torsion is a serious condition and your pet should be rushed to the emergency room if this occurs.

I have taken my puppers to this Vet Clinic for decades. I’m so appreciative and thankful of how caring and understanding they are. Experienced and very knowledgeable staff. Level of service is second to none. Wonderful clinic to deal with, they treat your furbaby like family. I’d give more stars if I could ☺️.
