I have a 2000 Saab 9-3 convertible. My trouble started one evening when I unlatched my top to open it. Nothing happenned when I clicked the roof open toggle switch. I thought I was low on hydralic fluid but that was not case. Nothing I could do so I taped the roof leading edge for the evening. Next day, I went out to start the car, the car would start but would die right away. I changed the DI myself because I got spares. No luck. I changed the Mass Air Flow sensor, still no luck. I called Mike@Beacon. He told me I had to tow the car in but the earliest I could book would be a week away. I waited

Mike almost made me cry (happy tears). I have been searching for a 2008+ SC rear door everywhere for the last 2 years. I called them because someone online mentioned they were decently close to me. He had the door. Very cost effective. Very kind genuine Saab enthusiast. Definitely will be doing business with them again for anything I can’t do. 💯

My saab 93 steering lock would not lock so the car would not start. Had it towed to a "saab repair shop" in London. Where it stayed for 10 weeks when they finally said they couldn't do anything.
Made arrangements to tow it to beacon motors. Spoke with Mike. Jokingly i said that it should take an hour to repair, 90 mins after it arrived i get a call that it is running. Made arrangements to do other needed work as it had sat too long. It was all done the next day.
Very happy to have the convertible back and highly recommend Mike and Beacon motors.

My Saab 93 wouldn't start this morning so I looked up Saab specialty shops in the area and this one was one of the highest rated so I figured I'd give them a call. The man who answered was very friendly and seemed to know exactly what was wrong with it and gave me an estimate over the phone. I then had my car towed over and his prior diagnostic was correct and it was actually less expensive than he had initially thought. They replaced a sensor and called me an hour later telling me it was ready to pick up. Great place to go for anything Saab related and I'm planning to go back here for all future

Mike is the man! Extremely knowledgeable and honest. Has a very nice shop that is my go to for anything relating to my Saab. He knows these cars inside and out and you can always count on meeting fellow Saab enthusiasts when you come in for service. Does high quality work for unbeatable prices and has a very spacious shop with a waiting area if you want to hang out and talk Saab’s while having your car serviced.... or watch tv. Mike also sells used Saab’s and performs service on other cars outside of Saab if need be. Happy to have someone I can trust with my Saab who will take the best care

The team at Beacon Motors has been absolutely amazing to work with. My father recommended them and I could not be happier with the service. Mike the owner is very knowledgeable and understands Saab's very well. In most cases he can diagnose a problem over the phone just by the symptoms and in my experience he has always been right. Quotes he gave me were always bang on if not slightly less.

Prouldy owning 3 Saabs, all well mantained @ Beacons Motors esp. I've compared here and other Saab specialist in GTA.
Remember to talk to Mike to gain some more Saab knowledge before you buy some parts or a used Saab yourself. Mike looks busy but is always willing to share his recommendations. Like I was eager to collect a 2011 Saab 95 aero but in the end I didn't. I bought my 9-5 Aero here about a year and a half ago. It's been an amazing car, with no real complaints. I had to take it in today to address a coolant leak. The service was fast, efficient and as always, top notch.
The people at Beacon are incredibly honest and fair with their prices and service and I honestly feel like they're going to be getting business from me for a very, very long time to come. They are very thorough with everything they do and always go above and beyond to assist people.

As much as I love a good pun, I must confess: there have never been tears for me at Beacon Motors.
Fair prices, super-knowledgeable staff, and a great owner. Especially with the future of Saab hanging in the balance, it's nice to know of a place in Toronto where one can get reliably serviced.
