Rob is very familiar with the golf and recreation industry. He has demonstrated the ability to instill a high level of customer service with all his staff members. In addition, Rob has implemented many innovative ways in meeting the changing market. Besides golf, Rob enjoys curling, hockey, and both down hill and cross-country skiing.

Our PGA certified professionals teach through our first-class Teaching Centre inclusive of video swing analysis.
Our Men's League is a great way to train and bond with teammates, improve your individual game, get to know the community, and play hard! Visit the Men's League website for more information. At River Bend Golf & Recreation Area we create a vibrant atmosphere that promotes fair competition and encourages a passion for the game.
In the late summer of 2020, we decided to renovate the teaching academy and turn it into a fitting centre. The goal of our professional club fitting staff is to promise you an exclusive experience like no other and to guarantee the best equipment for your swing. Whether you are a recreational or competitive golfer we carry top of the line brands such as TaylorMade, Ping, Callaway, Cobra, and Mizuno.
Seasonal opening and closing dates depend on weather conditions. The water park usually opens for the summer season during the first weeks of June and closes after the September long weekend (the first weekend in September). Please check back soon for the exact opening dates. On a hot sunny day our parking lot quickly hits capacity with golfers and park users.

I can't get over how nice the golf practice facilities are! They have a grass and a mat driving range. There is also a practice bunker, putting green and mini lynx! The staff were very friendly and helped us find our way around. We will definitely be driving down from Wetaskiwin again to test out the actual golf course next time! I can't wait!

This place blew my expectations away. I traveled from Calgary to play with a buddy from Edmonton. I didn't know what to expect. This course is so immaculately taken care of. The fairways are cut to perfection and greens are smooth. This course reminded me of BC. They have a great 18 along with a pitch and put for the younger kids. Or a quick little outing for a double date. 2 practice greens and gorgeous driving range

Gorgeous little course down in the heart of the Red Deer river valley. Lots of wildlife and the course was in very good shape for the most part during the 2020 season. Had a membership this year and played almost 60 rounds, glad I did as we are probably moving west of the rockies next spring. They also have a great little 9 hole par 3 pitch and put between 40-80yrds that is great for families and beginners.
