Fawn Meadows is a beautiful 9 hole course located just 30 minutes east of Red Deer, Alberta along the historic Highway 21 and the "Boomtown Trail". The Delburne and District Golf and Recreation Society was formed in 1993 by a group of hardworking volunteers. Bill Shaw of Red Deer was hired to design the course and construction began in 1994 with Albers Construction building the course.

By 1995 construction was complete and the course was opened to the public as Fawn Meadows Golf & Country Club. Ray Albers operated the course until his retirement at the end of the 2006 season. The Society took over operations and has managed the course since that time. We have tree lined fairways, numerous sand traps and are considered a "Must Play" in Central Alberta.

Golf Report

Golfing at Fawn Meadows is an enjoyable experience for all levels of golfers. We operate on nine minute intervals between tee times rather than the six or seven minutes you will see at bigger courses. This allows new golfers to take a little more time without feeling pressured and yet keeps the pace for more experienced golfers.

Score Card Report

With four sets of tees we can accommodate the abilities of a wide range of golfers. Keep in mind the red tees are not the ladies' tees. The forward tees being labelled ladies' tees is an outdated idea that does not apply to today's golfers. The tees are indicative of a golfers abilities, not their gender.

Golf Course Report

Fawn Meadows is a very picturesque nine hole course. There are tree lined fairways with gently rolling hills. Water is located on two of the nine holes, one of which you must hit over the water. Our greens are immaculate and your ball will run true, although a number of them will fool you. There are numerous sand traps located strategically on the course.

Couse Conditions Report

Work is continuing on our new campground. There will be approximately 34 new sites with a mix of seasonal and overnight rental sites. Our greens have been cleared of snow and are looking in great shape with very little damage. With some sunshine and warm weather perhaps we'll. Opening date is definitely getting closer.

Events Report

Every Thursday night at Fawn Meadows Golf and Country Club is Men's Night. With a 5:00 PM sign up, Men's Night is open to anyone and there is no weekly commitment necessary. Whether you are coming as a single, a twosome, threesome, or foursome, we are happy to have you with. Every Tuesday night at Fawn Meadows Golf and Country Club is Ladies' Night.

Pretty nice course. Oct.1 and everything's green and greens are rolling real good. Too bad only 9 holes.
I had a good Steak Sandwich after in the Clubhouse and Fish and Chips looked good too.

Absolutely love coming here for family golf on July long. Stayed in the new campground, sites are all new so understandable that a few flaws, such as site was not level and trees were taken back too much, but was great stay.

Really nice little course! Very playable, not far (30mins) from red deer. Would be 5 star but it's a little pricier than similar courses (trochu)

Had not golfed here for a couple years so we went yesterday. So impressed with all the beautiful improvements of the water treatments, flower beds etc. Not sure who is in charge or the grounds but thumbs up it is so well done. Also kuddos to the staff great food...great service. Look forward to golfing here again soon.

If it were an 18 hole course, it would rival the rest of the courses in the area.

The crew has done a tremendous job getting everything ready for this season in little time! The coarse is looking great , greens were well kept over the winter and the staff are following the standards and rules that have been placed on them this year perfectly! Good job to everyone there!!👏👏

A beautiful Golf Coirse located in the small Village of Delburne. It is well maintained, has decent pricing and is a great time to spend hitting the ball around for a few hours!

Golfing is good but the food is terrible. Tries Breakfast a couple weeks back and everything thing was cold. Tried to have dinner tonight and it was even worse steak sandwich ordered medium Rare came well done and was like shoe leather don’t gravy was cold recommend to eat there

Golf course is good condition considering the dry weather.Interesting and fun layout. Staff was friendly and helpful.Had lunch after our round on the patio.Viewed the ninth green.Great hamburger and again good service.Will be back.
