BBA Accounting Group Inc. is a Chartered Professional Accounting firm founded in 1990 by Sonya Bekken, CPA, CA. Howard Bickford, CPA, CA joined in 1995 followed by Patrick Ruscitti, CPA, CGA in 1997 and Jess Hennan, CPA, CGA in 2006. The firm compliment includes an additional staff f approx. 20 which include senior CPA's, newly designated CPA's, CPA students and other accounting and administrative staff.
Financial statements are the cornerstone of any business. They are used to compare operations from year to year, assist management with decisions and to comply with tax reporting requirements. Death and taxes, right? BBA can help you with the latter at least. We offer our clients an array of services designed to ensure your compliance with these matters is taken care of in an efficient and timely manner.
Howard helps his personal and corporate clients manage their relationship with the Canada Revenue Agency in order to minimize the amount they pay and maximize the amount they keep for themselves, while at the same ensuring that all of their reporting and filing obligations are properly met. Howard also works with his clients to monitor and grow their net worth so that their day of financial freedom arrives sooner rather than later.
Patrick, I can't thank you enough for your presentation yesterday. The feedback I'm hearing is that you were incredibly knowledgeable and communicated in a way that people clearly understood what you were saying, and that you were very funny and approachable. The topics were so relevant for people and I know you've prompted people to take action.

"Non-accountanty accountants" was how Jess and the BBA team were described to me, and that's definitely held true. Consummate professionals but with the ability to make -- what I see as; they would probably disagree -- labyrinthine tax affairs easy to understand.
Leaving my financial affairs in Jess' hands helps me sleep better at night, and ultimately, that's what it's all about. Five stars.

Patrick explains things in layman language so that can be easily understood by a person coming from a non-accounting background. With a great sense of humor, he makes everything easy and light.
