For guests who cannot make their scheduled appointment times we respectfully request 24 business hours' notice to reschedule or cancel to NOT incur charges. Any voicemails left for cancellations after business hours will be deemed as received on the next business day. Each stylist evolves through our level system as they receive additional training, experience, and more demand for their time. This is a 60-minute service for the guest with an abundance of hair, an intricate style, or if you are ready for a big change!

I went for a pedicure yesterday afternoon and was not disappointed! The staff are all so friendly and were very accommodating to my busy schedule☺️ they also have an awesome selection of gel polish colours… (seriously, i had a hard time choosing which one to get they’re all so beautiful) I’ll definitely be going back in the future 🥰

Every time I come here is a treat. The reception staff is friendly and helpful, and the people I have seen for services have been professional and thorough. I have been coming here for well over a decade, and I will continue coming back. I have tried other salons and spas, and have regretted not coming here instead every time.

First ever visit at Kiyo today.. after searching Nanaimo for almost 3 years and being disappointed everytime I walked out, I have finally found MY salon. This salon was recommended to me from my former hair stylist in Edmonton who I hold in high esteem. I have gone to Carrie several times now and am very happy with her service. She has given me two great hair cuts now and I am looking forward to the next. She listens carefully to what you want and executes your needs well. The salon is larger than I expected. There are at least 4 stylists who are all very friendly and seem to equally great work. The boutique part is a small collection of clothing and accessories that are actually quite nice and would be something I would weave if I needed more clothing

Alisha did such an amazing job coloring my hair! It had been over five years since I last colored my hair, and I went in not exactly sure of what to ask for. After coming home from the salon, I realized that the color hadn't turned out to what I had in mind, and I called the salon the next day to see if they could fix it. They were super accommodating and I was able to get squeezed in on the same day. Alisha listened to my concerns about the initial coloring experience, and was able to recolor my hair to exactly what I had envisioned! I am in love with how it turned out, and so impressed with Kiyo
