At Simcoe Physiotherapy Centre our mission is to offer our clients the highest quality health care in a comprehensive manner. Our staff consists of fully qualified Health Professionals that are dedicated to providing individualized treatment programs, allowing for optimal therapeutic results. Our goal is to utilize a personalized approach to every condition, treating root causes as well as concurrent symptoms, with long-term health goals in mind.
We have a strong focus on patient education. We believe education serves an important role in the healing process. Education allows patients to understand their injuries or specific health concerns and in turn helps them to limit further aggravation of symptoms, and prevent frequent re-occurrence.

Services
Physiotherapists work with individuals who have sustained musculoskeletal injuries or broken bones, have limited physical function, suffer from pain, or are recovering from orthopedic surgery or neurological injury. On your first visit to see a Physiotherapist, a physical assessment will be conducted in order to determine what and where dysfunction lies.
Our bodies have an inherent capability for self-healing. Unfortunately, when we are under times of prolonged stress, have poor diet/exercise routines, or when we experience trauma etc., our body systems fall out of balance and develop 'blockages in energy pathways'. This 'blockage of energy flow' in turn interferes with our inherent capability to heal ourselves.
The Rolf Method of Structural Integration (SI) is a specialized manual therapy that aims to realign the body's structure so that it can function with increased ease and efficiency with the field of gravity. We treat the body as a whole. You may feel discomfort in one area of your body, i.e. hip, knee, or neck; however this does not mean that the cause of that discomfort started or will end there.
