I went to this salon for the first time after last lockdown was over. My hair stylist was Raquel. I really liked her personality and her work. I got a hair cut and I loved the cut. I am planning to go back to get my colour/balayage done. I liked that she did not rush me to get it done asap. She said that I still could wait it out. Looking forward to going back to this salon once the lockdown is over.

I have been seeing Joe D. for years and years. He is unbelievably talented. I’ve changed hair styles and colours several times over the years and he never ceases to amaze. If you’re looking for someone to trust, look no further. The salon and team vibe is also incredibly fun and welcoming. Always a pleasure.

Horrible customer service!!! I went years ago and got a cut with Steve. Initially I liked what he did so I went back for a very drastic cut. He didn't listen to what i wanted at all! He cut my hair waaaaay too short and i atead of balayage, I ended up with one thick blonde streak on the left side of my head. I attempted to get it fixed which they did for me, but it didn't really help. I hadn't been back for years because of that experience, until last week. My regular stylist is no longer working i Toronto so i had to find a new one. A friend recommended a different stylist at Local J so i thought

My hair seems to magically stop growing after a certain length and I always wanted to have longer hair than what I currently have, shoulder length. I visited various salons during the past few years asking for help as well as asked about extensions to be told “NO” can’t do it for your hair type. Very desperate as my son’s wedding was fast approaching so I set out again and I came across Locale J Hair.
