We are a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation centre who has been in New Tecumseth since 1989 and specifically in Alliston since 1997. We are located downtown Alliston at 27 Victoria Street East. Alliston Physiotherapy offers a wide range of services including Physiotherapy, Registered Massage Therapy, Low Intensity Laser Therapy, Acupuncture, and Shockwave, at no additional cost.
Physiotherapy is a health care profession which provides services to individuals in order to develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and functional ability throughout life. It includes providing services in circumstances where movement and function are threatened by aging, injury, disease or environmental factors.
Massage Therapy is a hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues including muscles, tendons, connective tissue and ligaments. It is one of the oldest forms of health care recognized globally. Not only is it an excellent treatment for specific physical ailments, but it is quite frequently the best method for the treatment of mental and physical stress resulting from the hectic pace of today's world.
Alliston Physiotherapy and Sports Rehabilitation is excited to offer Low Intensity Laser Therapy. Laser therapy involves applying low intensity laser light to injured or damaged tissue. This stimulates a number of physiological processes that result in the acceleration of tissue repair. The end result of the process is the restoration of normal cell function and a disappearance of symptoms.
Harmandeep graduated from the program of Physical Therapy from Punjabi University Patiala, Punjab, India in 2010. He has worked as an orthopaedic physical therapist in the private and public sector for more than 8 years. Harmandeep is an active member of the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario. He has Master's Degree in sports physical therapy and had worked with various sports teams.
