Services
Physiotherapy is a form of patient-centered treatment that utilizes a range of techniques such as joint mobilization, advanced muscle release, exercises, massage therapy, inferential current therapy (such as a TENS device), and other therapeutic interventions to manage chronic and post-surgical and acute pain from an injury.
During your initial 60 minute consultation at our clinic in Barrie, our chiropractor will obtain a detailed medical history, including questions related to pain and your overall health. There will also be a thorough chiropractic exam, lab analysis, and diagnostic imaging if required. Our chiropractor will then develop a working diagnosis and pain management plan to facilitate pain relief as soon as possible.
Acupuncture is a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), one of the oldest healing systems in the world. It's based on more than 2,500 years of Chinese medical practice, with the belief that the insertion of fine, sterile needles along pathways on the body keeps your energy in balance to prevent or cure illness.
Therapeutic massage is a general term used to describe any type of massage modality that helps to relieve pain, reduce stress, increase range of motion, or improve a specific health problem. This type of therapy is considered a part of complementary and integrative medicine, and it's increasingly being offered in combination with standard medical care to treat a wide range of medical conditions.
Shockwave therapy is a safe and effective, non-invasive treatment used to resolve pain and discomfort. Energy waves are directed at injured soft tissues, reducing pain, and accelerating the body's natural healing ability. Shockwave therapy has been used to treat both chronic and acute pain caused by many musculoskeletal conditions since its approval by the FDA in 2000.

I have a lot of experience with orthotics and this clinic has been the best experience so far. Stan is on time, answers all your questions and offers a superior product. Once you have your orthotics he follows up to make sure you are satisfied or will make an adjustment if necessary. He takes care of his clients and he looks out for ways to get the most bang for your buck. I’m grateful to Stan and Pro Motion for providing me with an exceptional experience.

It was a great experience overall. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Stan did a thorough assessment and is very knowledgeable in his profession. Having had a previous pair of orthotics (different provider) I was aware of my foot and walking tendencies. Stan confirmed what I already knew and gave me some new information that would help me in the future. The orthotics arrived in a timely manner and the fit was great. I have been wearing them for my usual 5K walks and they feel a lot better than the previous orthotics. Thanks for all your help!

Had my first consultation with Stan Chikh at Pro Motion today about orthotics.Have needed them for a long long time but never met anyone happy with the experience. MR. Chikh has a state of the art diagnostic computer with a revolutionary custom scan orthotic. Very educated and thorough...and took the time to explain every step of the process. Felt treated as a friend in need of assistance and not as a cash sale prospect.
Now have my orthotics...and detailed instructions on how to break them in. I remain very impressed with Pro Motion who are not remotely the closest centre to me...but I am convinced
