I had gone to this clinic in Edmonton 2 years ago for a left nasolabial fold that was starting to form. It was my first time getting filler. I asked the nurse Shelley to fill the fold. Instead she put filler in front of the fold and said this looks better. I did not understand why she put filler in that spot but I trusted this woman and I thought she had my best interest.
Fast forward, I thought the filler would dissolve instead it made a VERY PRONOUNCED fold on my left side. I realized this filler is making the fold worse and I had the filler dissolved. Now every time I look in the mirror I

Initially gave 5 stars but after going other places for lip filler, this place is the worst. Sooooo much more expensive and it feels like a real chop shop. They just want you in and out as quickly as possible. Other medical places I've been have described in detail what you're getting and what may happen etc. I also think having a person who fills your lips but has huge filler balls in their lips is not the best place to go. Overall, find somewhere else if you want filler, this is not the place for that

Giving this place one star as they pushed a product on me that I had a reaction to and so I emailed their "customer service" and the lady was opposite of helpful. Asked me to come in and get tested to see if I was truly allergic to the serum. 1) Why would I lie about that? 2) Why would I waste more time to come in and have someone apply MORE serum to me and make it worse? The lady in the email straight up said she wanted to test to see if the reaction was true (her name was Jamie Smith, GM). I think that in the very least, she could have worded it like a professional, not a skeptic.

Updating my review. I did have a bad experience with Becky. So did several of my friends. Yes I do know she's suppose to be the best injector that's why I went to her. But when I tell me story and I hear other girls that have gone home crying or left with lumps or a heavy drowsy eye brow of course it's not just me. Everyone's skin is different and we can't all come out with perfect results. But If I do get injections again I will just not go to her or external affairs I will go to an actual clinic not a spa. And if there is massive lumps in your lips and you guys go in

I have been here a couple of times now, specifically for Bioidential Hormone Replacement Therapy.
All the ladies there are absolutely wonderful. They remember your name, why you are there, and make you feel completely comfortable. With extensive medical training, the employees (a lot of them RN's) answer any and all questions and make you feel beautiful, even if you're not quite at your very best. You walk in, are greeted with smiles and salutations and offers of coffee/water/tea. Marie, the receptionist takes care of all the bookings, faxing of prescriptions, and administrative duties

I had bad experience with botox and juvederm. My eyebrows looked like I was a Jocker and my lips were totally uneven with lumps.
It was the first time that I was treated by a nurse and not a doctor. I had botox and juvederm before so I knew what to expect. I was shoping for better prices and I thought nurse will be cheaper than doctor.
Well, I was disappointed. The rpices were the same as with other doctors.
I went back to the clinic and complained that my lips had lumps and my brows looked horrible. She put more botox and said that it will take few days for the effect to take place.

I was a faithful client at External Affairs. I started seeing Becky many years ago and over the years they extended their staff with great injectors. I have had the opportunity to receive treatments from the other girls and was more than impressed with the quality of their injecting. Recently I have noticed many changes at External Affairs. Over the last few months 3 of their injectors have left and their top esthetician and nail tech. This makes me wonder what exactly is going on there! This place is a classy Medical Spa! From a simple brow wax to laser skin treatments, EA has it all. It's really convenient to have all your beauty stops all in one beautifully decorated building!
I haven't personally tried any medical procedures but I've had manicures, pedicures, brow waxes, massages, gel nails and hair done here. All of these things I've been really happy with and are always done very professionally. The prices aren't too shabby either.
