Services
At Off the Hook we use a Cutera Coolglide laser, Lumenis Lightsheer Cynosure Elite and a Janssen Pro Intense Pulse Light(IPL). The Coolglide is an infrared laser (1064nm) that is safe to use on all skin types. We can laser tanned skin and dark skin safely. The Lumenis Lightsheer is a diode cynosure Elite is an Alexandrite (755nm)/Yag(1064nm) blend.
A Full Monty is the same as a Brazilian but it also includes lasering the hair up the back side. Most people have hair here and we are completely comfortable removing it. In fact, it is our most popular treatment. We have natural color for grey hair or for a change, and funky colors for that special occasion or to surprise someone with a special look.
Electrolysis puts an end to unwanted hair growth by disrupting the growth process, quite literally at the roots. When you undergo treatment a fine filament is carefully inserted into each individual hair follicle and a quick electrical charge is applied. Once the follicle cells are treated, they stop producing hair.
Please do not wax, tweeze or have electrolysis for six weeks prior to your laser treatment. Shaving is the preferred method of hair removal before treatment. Do not use retin-A or glycolics for at least three days prior to LHR as these are skin irritants. Do not use photosensitive drugs for seven days prior to treatment; do not use accutane within one year.
Wash the area to be waxed, exfoliate the day before. This procedure will help loosen hair follices and remove dead skin cells that may help making waxing a little easy. Try to avoid waxing during your premenstrual cycle (slightly before, during and slightly after) AS the cycle creates sensitivity due to hormone changes.

I have been seeing Adrienne for laser hair removal for a couple years. She is professional and personable and makes me feel comfortable while she is working. The spa is clean and well maintained. Their receptionist is always courteous and helpful . I've also had one massage and had my nails done once here - both services were great. 10/10 would recommend!

The staff at off the Hook Laser and Spa are extremely unprofessional the staff was asked for a simple quote / estimate for electrolysis and the staff couldn't even do that right the owner Leanna is rude and… offensive and outright lies then about what happened. The staff is extremely unprofessional and can't even follow the most basic instructions. Avoid this place they are just horrible! The owner is horrible and refuses to take any responsibility for what she has done and how she has messed things up in this situation. The owner is childish and irresponsible. I have been to many spas and this is the best by far. The owner Leanna makes me feel valued and welcome. She’s also very funny!
I have my pedicures with Dallas and they are always perfect.
I have regular massages with Amanda who is an expert in this therapy. She has helped me with many issues. If you have hip problems she can help.
Adrienne has the most effective electrolysis technique I have ever experienced. She is also good at laser and takes great pride in her work.

I've been a client at OTH for years now and have always left happy. It is such a comfortable and relaxed environment and everyone is so easy to deal with and accommodating. My husband bought me laser for a gift, this was my first laser experience. I saw 2 very experienced and knowledgeable technicians. This is an outstanding destination spa experience. This recently has become one of my favourite decompression places. I come from downtown Edmonton because it is a personable, efficient, and cost effective place to visit and yet so close to where I live. The owner, Leanna is extremely passionate about what she does. You can tell she loves to serve the public, and makes it look so effortless to put everyone at ease. I recently wanted to book a waxing and pedicure and Leanna managed to line everything up so I didn't have to go twice in 1 week. It feels like "home away from home". You ladies rock

Off the Hook is a wonderful place for laser hair removal. I had my underarms done years ago and it was a fantastic experience then. I tried other places because of specials they offered and the truth is you get what you pay for. The results at the other places were horrible, but the results at Off the Hook have always been fantastic.
My 16 year old daughter was there the other day for some laser work and Natalie was so great with her. The business and staff are absolutely fantastic. You will absolutely love going to Off the Hook.
