Veneers are thin shells of ceramic material that bond directly to your tooth. This cosmetic treatment option can change the look of your smile by masking discoloured teeth or restoring the appearance of crooked or chipped teeth. Placing a veneer generally requires two appointments. During the first appointment, our dentists will take an impression of your teeth and remove some of the enamel on your tooth to make room for the veneer.
The position of your teeth and jaws can affect your bite, tension, pain and even cause trouble eating. If you have an overbite, underbite, crooked teeth or misaligned teeth, braces effectively work to correct those problems over time. Crooked or misaligned teeth can also be harder to clean and can lead to more plaque and bacteria build-up.

I have been a patient here for six years. I have a dental plan with full coverage. The last time I went for a dental cleaning I was charged ten dollars for non-aerosol cleaning procedures. I was told my dental plan did not cover it. When i questioned the extra charge I was accused of being rude.
I spoke with Dr Robert Hynd and he told me every other clinic on the Sunshine Coast charges the same and told me to find another dentist. I am now going to a different Dental clinic on the Coast that does not and never has charged an extra charge.
