DBA Engineering Ltd. is a wholly Canadian owned professional company formed in 1991 by a group of Senior Engineers and Technologists.

Geotechnical engineering embraces the knowledge of how soil, rock and water interact with foundations and engineered structures. This knowledge comes through an understanding of soil and rock mechanics, groundwater hydrology, foundation engineering and construction techniques. Since the beginning, we have been involved in practical research and development. We carried out work on some of the first crumb rubber and shingle mix trials conducted in the early 90's. DBA was also extensively involved in the first Superpave project in Ontario, the LTPP SPS-9A project in Petawawa, on behalf on the MTO.
