Concord Engineering is a Canadian company founded in Kingston, Ontario. Established in 1992, Concord Engineering offers a broad range of consulting and engineering-related services to our clients in the private, public, government and insurance/legal sectors.

Our services have grown from our core strengths in geotechnical engineering to include structural engineering, environmental engineering, hydrogeology, and probable cause and origin investigations. We provide consultation on property matters from the ground up, from foundations to roofing. Our expertise extends from domestic wells and onsite sewage issues to residential fuel oil spills.
Services
Our expertise is essentially problem solving. We apply the fundamentals of science to the analyses, diagnoses, rehabilitation and remediation of a variety of failures (be it foundations, structural, cladding or roofing) and environmental impacts (residential furnace oil release, underground storage tanks, excess soil from construction projects).
Concord Engineering has been providing subsurface investigations for a broad range of geotechnical projects for over 30 years. Our projects include residential subdivisions, condominium developments, industrial/commercial developments, roadways and bridges, and shoreline structures. We provided geotechnical recommendations tailored to your unique project needs.
Building Science is simply described as the study of the indoor environment and the building resource use including energy and building material use. The practical purpose is to optimize the building performance and sustainability for new and existing buildings and to understand or prevent building failures.
We offer specialized environmental consulting services, successfully remediating hundreds of properties in eastern Ontario. Our team of qualified engineers and technologists apply our combined experiences and problem solving skills to tailor solutions for each project in accordance with regulation and industry standards.
Manual removal ("dig and dump") of petroleum impacts is often the most efficient and timely remediation option. Site conditions may dictate the need for a mobile groundwater treatment unit (MTU) to treat dissolved concentrations for dewatering an excavation or a containment of a dissolved plume.

Alternatively, in-situ remedies such as chemical oxidation (ISCO) offers a less disruptive option where obstacles such as an existing structure or significant depth of soil inhibit more conventional remedial methods.Concord Engineering holds Environmental Compliance Approvals for Mobile Groundwater Treatment and In-Situ Remediation of petroleum hydrocarbons.

Concord engineering was fantastic to deal with. We had Matt and Chris to determine if a wall was load bearing and could be removed without further support or not. Always available and were easy to set up an on-site appointment with. Highly recommend.

We had Concord drawing for 2 support walls removal and installing a support beam for an open concept in our house. Chris was always available for answering questions and communicated well with our contractor. The price was affordable and right on the target. Great job!
