Oral cancer screening (OCS) may be the best way to detect oral cancer early, and dental hygienists have an important role. They screen for oral cancer as part of every dental hygiene appointment, regardless of age, and educate clients about risk factors and how to detect potential problems. During an oral cancer screening exam, your dental hygienist looks over the inside of your mouth to check for red or white patches or mouth sores.
Fluoride is a naturally occurring element that strengthens teeth. This can help to prevent tooth decay. Fluoride treatments help to prevent decay in both children and adults. Anyone who is at risk of dental decay is a good candidate for topical fluoride treatments. This fluoride is applied directly to the teeth.
It is the method in which selected teeth are targeted due to the presence of stains. Select Polishing is the removal of stains from the clinical crowns of the teeth to provide cleaner-appearing dentition using a rubber cup or prophy jet. This process make a surface smooth and glossy and give luster to a surface.

My four year old had an appointment at a traditional dental clinic, and wouldn't get off my lap or open his mouth. It was too loud and busy for him, and he found it stressful. I found Angel's Smiles and liked that it was a calm, home environment. Angelica took her time with my son and kept the appointment quiet and laid back, and my son happily allowed her to do a full checkup and cleaning. My son keeps talking about how much fun he had at the dentist. I highly recommend Angelica for anyone, but especially kids who struggle with getting overwhelmed in busy environments. My son had a great teeth

Great service by Angel’s Smile Dental Hygiene Care. Angelica is a superstar. Scaling polishing and my teeth are breathing now. Her attention to detail is spectacular. My gums are so much cleaner now. She also gave advice of what needs to be done at home. Great work and that’s what I call doing the best at your job! Definitely visiting her again.

I recently had the pleasure to visit a very caring professional dental hygienist. She has great knowledge and experience about all dental needs, as well as providing great care during my first visit with her. She takes time and explain everything. Highly recommended every one to go there and visit her. You all can feel the difference.
