A root canal is needed when decay, infection or injury has compromised the living tissue inside the tooth. The canal is then filled to prevent further damage from recurring and to restore the tooth to its full function. A successful root canal keeps the tooth intact and prevents sensitivity, pain and irritation.
A denture is a removable dental appliance that replaces several or all of the teeth in an arch. They are intended to be comfortable and look and feel very similar to natural teeth. There are two types of dentures - complete and partial. Complete dentures replace all natural teeth whereas a partial denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth.
A CEREC crown is a natural looking restoration that builds a tooth back to its previous form. If a tooth is no longer able to support itself and is at risk of fracturing, a crown can be used to restore it back to its original look and function. A crown may be recommended to repair a broken tooth, to protect a root canal treated area, or to strengthen a weak or decayed tooth.

I received excellent care from DR Hussein and his team. From the moment I walked into the office I was welcomed and made to feel at ease. Dr Hussein was knowledgeable and professional as he explained options for treatment. No long wait times for appointments and he is extremely concerned that you will be well after procedures. He makes himself available to patients, which shows his dedication. Office staff and clinical staff are amazing. I highly recommend this practice.

Since my last review 3 years ago , there have been some major changes to Ironwood Dental. Because of the pandemic, there is now a strict protocol to follow to ensure the safety of both patient and dental professional. Yesterday I had my scheduled cleaning with a very pleasant and skilled hygienist, and not once did I feel unsafe.
In addition, Dr. Mohammed Hussein’s son Ali, is now on the Ironwood Dental team, and I have found him to be just as respectful and competent as his father.

They did two cleanings in one month for me - after long cavity work as well. I had come to them for a specific gun related problem and they didn’t fix that but did all this other stuff instead! I had told them I was only paying through benefits- they waited till after the second cleaning to charge my benefits and then made me pay cash. If they had checked before as my old dentist always did- I could have easily postponed two weeks till my benefits renewed.

Dr. Hussein, there isn't words that I can really express on how wonderful his work is and how wonderful his staff are. Dr. Hussein bedside manners is also amazing. He truly treats everyone with such kindness, respect and makes me feel very comfortable when I come in and that's a big deal for me because I have high stress when it comes to my teeth lol. The work he does is with alot of care. I exstremly highly recommend him. There services and fees are fantastic and they are also very thorough with follows and also making sure you are very aware of everything going on. He is exstremly professional

I went to this dentist because of the reviews on Google, however it has blown my mind that anyone thinks this is an acceptable practice. It's so run down, unorganised and unclean. I completed the new patient form prior to my visit and emailed it. I checked the "pregnant or breastfeeding" box. When I was being led through to the X-ray machine I told the girl that I'd checked this box and her reply was "oh it doesn't matter." Yes it does!!!! I can't even be bothered to go into the rest, but it was horrifying.

When I first came here I got a great first impression. I felt like I walked into a clinic that’s close to StarTrek level of dentistry. On my last visit Dr. Hussein’s daughter worked diligently to save one of my teeth that had no reason saving. It reached the end of its life a few filling fixes ago. Super slim change on pulling this off but one root canal later, success! She did it. Im impressed, I’m happy, no pain whatsoever. I since moved to Burlington but kept this place as my prime dentist choice. With good reason. Their whole family is the best. 💪🤪🤳

Been visiting Ironwood Dental since I was a kid. Always had enjoyable experiences and always left feeling incredible where other dentist locations in my past left me feeling sore or in pain. Dr Hussain is hilarious and extremely friendly and great. Cassidy has been my hygienist the last couple times and she is very good at what she does and has an amazing bubbly personality and incredible sense of humor.
