I have been providing counselling services to children, youth, adults and families, in a variety of settings, and from all walks of life, for the past 14 years. I worked at a community counselling agency in Guelph, in the children's mental health sector, and in residential treatment programs for at-risk children and youth.

I am a published author, have experience providing clinical supervision to social work graduate students, and employment counselling for newcomers and 'at-risk' youth. Working with children, youth, adults and families has shown me that when individuals feel safe, respected, heard and appreciated for who they really are, they respond to life's challenges with creativity and resilience.
