Dr. Dan is a family chiropractor passionate about promoting health and wellness through the work of chiropractic. Dr. Dan began his career in the U.S. working for years in Seattle WA, before returning home to BC. He has since set up his own practice in Surrey, serving the local community and its surrounding areas.
We understand that arriving at a chiropractic office for the first time can be nerve racking. If you've never experienced chiropractic care before, you may not know what to expect when you first come to our office. Filling out paperwork, learning new faces, and getting to know your way around the office can be an overwhelming experience.
In some ways, one could say that chiropractic care is a bit like building a house - certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work together correctly. When building a house, if you tried to build your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually may even collapse.
Upon entering our office, our receptionist will welcome you as a member of our family. We will request that you complete our patient forms located in the New Patient Centre before your appointment. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition/s. Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. Dan Mukai to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options.

We first found his practice as I was looking for a chiropractor for my daughter who was 4 months old at the time for her torticollis. Soon after, my husband and I also started seeing him and couldn't have been a better decision for our family.

When I first met Dan I was very skeptical of Chiropractors and wasn't really hoping for much change. I work out 6 days a week and sometimes I double up on my sessions and my hip was just not co-operating. I literally felt like I was 20-30 years old then I actually am (I'm 46).
I was WRONG - Dan has worked his magic.
I can now get into deep squats whilst lifting heavy weights, my hip doesn't crack when I get up off the chair at work, I don't moan and groan when I have to bend over to pick something up off the floor, my kids don't look at me like mom's falling apart... its a MIRACLE ... To all

I have been going to Dr. Dan for over 5 years. I suffered from terrible back and hip pain for years due to a previous car accident and had tried every therapy method available, even chiro! But when I met Dr. Dan, he took his time to figure out all my problem areas and laid out a therapy plan. He has an amazing team that works with him. Everyone is very polite and accommodating. I found out about Pathways Family Chiropractic from an ad on Facebook. I scheduled the appointment and the next business day I had a phone call confirmation and they were sending me all the paperwork that needed to be filled out. I highly recommend this chiropractor to anyone suffering from migraines and or fibromyalgia it’s been a game changer for me. I couldn’t walk upstairs without pain and lived on prescription migraine pills before finding Dr Dan now I am pain free and have no more migraines. Thank you Dr Dan. Dr. Dan is an amazing professional who really care about his patients. Every time we go there we feel at home. Since I started seen him during my second pregnancy I haven't felt back pain anymore. He also takes care of my daughters and I just wish we could've met him sooner because it really helped my younger daughter in hers firsts weeks with colic and reflux and now both of them are thriving in their milestones.
