Services
As educators, we understand that children learn best through child-centred exploration and discovery and in an environment where interactions between adults and children are active, stimulating and engaging. As parents, we understand that the highest hopes and aspirations are reserved for our children.
Our Toddler Program is designed for children 18 months to 2.6 years of age and we offer full-time and part-time spaces (Tuesday, Thursday & Monday, Wednesday, Friday). We also provide a limited number of spaces for children 12 months to 18 months of age within our Toddler rooms. The ratio in our Toddler Program is one teacher for every five children, with a maximum of 15 children.
Our Preschool Program is designed for children 2.6 to 6 years of age and we offer full-time and part-time spaces (Tuesday, Thursday & Monday, Wednesday, Friday). The ratio in our Preschool Program is one teacher for every eight children, with a maximum of 24 children. Our Preschool Program ensures that your child's mind is engaged and helps create a life-long love of learning and exploration.
Our Play-Based learning curriculum provides opportunities for children to explore, discover and solve problems in imaginative and playful ways. Our Educators use children's motivation and interest to explore new concepts and ideas. They encourage interactions that aim to stretch children's learning to higher levels and have become facilitators of child-led learning.
Physical literacy aims to develop the fundamental movement skills that children require in order to increase the motivation, confidence and competence they will need to develop healthy, active lives. The early years mark a time of rapid growth, physical, emotional and social development and physical literacy is as important as early literacy, numeracy, music and science.

This centre has excellent programming and prepares children to head off to school. Knowledgeable, professional and want to see your child flourish by providing heartfelt care. They keep you updated daily with a great app, pictures and schedule of your child’s day. This centre was amazing during the evolving health changes with COVID-19 providing updates and keeping your children safe. It was a great experience for our family!

My son has been going to busy hands and minds since June this year. We have had a great experience, the teachers were really helpful and co operative in making my son settle in. They wouldn’t mind even if i was calling three times a day and would always update me on his routines. A big Thank you to Shannon in Pre school 2 for being an awesome teacher :)

Very badly maintained facility, the people in the daycare don’t feel responsible, the facility doesn’t maintain transparency in the process. My daughter fell sick every time she attended this daycare continuously past 2 months. I would not recommend busy hands to anyone.

I usually do not write comments, but the experience that I had with this daycare was bad. Some of them they are not kind, specially manager at all. She does not even say hi or bye to parents while picking up or dropping off kids. They make their rules for COVID on top of the ministry of health which is not right, so you need to keep your kids 10 days at home or torture your kid with COVID test. Beside above issues there is not enough communication between you and teachers just through the APP. My son from night before was really upset about next day going to day care always. I just finished registering my daughter after I did a tour on Zoom. The centre looks very clean and well kept. The classrooms looked spacious and the teachers seemed very interactive with the students. I can’t wait to have my daughter start in the fall as this place has been highly recommended to me by my neighbours.

Great place! I’ve been looking for a caring daycare for a while now and I’ve finally found one. I feel safe not only with their covid protocols but also with how they care for the children. The staff has a great relationship with the children which means a lot to me . My son speaks highly of his teachers :)

My son attended busy hands n minds this past summer! I was quite worried about sending him during covid, but the owners and staff at busy hands n minds worked very hard ensuring that my son was safe! The covid 19 protocols they have in place are reassuring for a parent who is unsure about sending their children to childcare during a pandemic. I highly recommend this facility.

Great experience at this childcare centre. My daughter has been in the toddler program and has really enjoyed it and flourished here. The teachers are very kind and warm towards the children with nutritional meals and snacks provided daily. I much prefer that it is a smaller centre as you don't end up feeling like your child is just a number. Would recommend to others looking for a more personable experience.

My son has been going to Busy Hands'n'Minds since he was 18 months and now he's 3 in his last year of preschool. There is a genuine nature this daycare provides for the care of your child. The staff is amazing and my child has developed amazing relationships with all of them. The facility is the most clean daycare facility I have ever seen and I've seen a number of them, it is evident that the staff and owners really take pride. Totally recommend this daycare!!!

Had my child enrolled in this daycare and she really enjoyed her days there. She speaks fondly of her teachers still to this day ("graduated" over a month ago now). Her reading improved and the school also provided books to bring home and practice her reading.
The crafts they made are priceless. I enjoyed even coming along on a few of the day trips they went on.
The staff were just wonderful to deal with and really do show a genuine interest in your child.
