Services
Neil Bardal has established itself as a leader among funeral homes in Winnipeg. How have we done it? What makes us so special? Read below to learn what is at the essence of our success, and to learn what makes us who we are. It starts with our staff. Funeral services are by nature a personal service because you are entrusting people to properly care for your loved one and to give a tribute that their life deserves.
My great grandfather ( long afi ) AS. Bardal started in the funeral business in 1894 after selling his transport business. He was joined in the business by his brother Paul and later by his four sons Njall Sr. (my Grandfather), Karl, Gerry and Paul. The firm incorporated in 1950 with six Bardal's as director's.
At Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, we take pride in our comfortable and modern Winnipeg funeral home facilities. Designed in 2008, our contemporary facilities were built with our families' needs in mind. From the moment you walk through our doors you'll notice that our facility feels as comfortable home.
Just as important as choosing the funeral home to serve your family is choosing the cemetery that will serve as the final resting place for your loved one. A cemetery is a place for your loved one to rest and serves as a place to bring your family together to remember them. Neil Bardal Funeral Centre is proud to work with all of the cemeteries in and surrounding Winnipeg.
The Spirit Of Winnipeg Awards are presented by the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, sponsored by BDO, Charterted Accountants and Advisors. The awards recognize businesses and not-for-profit organizations in Winnipeg that have contributed to the vibrancy of our city through their innovation and entrepreneurship.

I would never recommend using this business. They are nothing but thieves!! While you are in there grieving and planning your loved ones arrangements.... They are purposely neglecting to tell you about a $1500 administration fee there are going to charge you and when you ask them what this fee is for, they cannot answer you! I refused to pay it and they threatened to send me to collections. So I told them to go right ahead. And when I ended up paying the account I took the $1,500 off and basically told them if you cash my check and it's account is paid in full... And literally wrote that on the

We can not thank Dave and Eirik enough for their professional care and support of our family in the loss of our husband, father and grandfather (Don Smales). In this difficult time Dave's guidance through all the decision making was so appreciated. The day of the memorial will always be remembered as a special day instead of one entirely of sadness. We appreciated the special attention to detail and the role they played in helping us say goodbye to him.
Sincere thanks from the Smales family

I could not say enough thank you to this establishment and the staff for their kindness and understanding they provided. You took care of us with kindness and support. I came in from Texas to Winnipeg to support my in laws in their moment of grief and sorrow. Richard and their staff made a difficult time into a much easier experience. The fact that you and your staff was able to pull together my brother in law funeral in such a professional manner in such short notice was simple amazing. The location and your establishment was very impressive. To Neil Bardal Funeral Centre and staff, thank you
