BUYER BEWARE! This guy was a horror! If you can find someone else, do it. Moving is stressful enough. Add Stefan, the owner of S and Sons Moving, to the mix, and you guarantee yourself the worst move of your life. He presented us with a low ball quote that didn't represent the real cost of the move and which ballooned on moving day with hidden costs. Over the course of our 4 day move in July, he misled, price- gouged, was rude and insulting to me, wouldn't honour his liability for damages and walked off with packing materials that we owned. We had a great experience with S&Sons Moving this past week. The owners of the company were very kind, helpful and upfront in the planning stages, and on moving day the movers arrived on time, worked hard to got the job done efficiently and took great care with our belongings. I would definitely use them again and recommend them!

I used them to help me move business, and they did an amazing job. They quoted me the price and delivered as promised. I was especially impressed with their ability to carry a VERY heavy mahogany desk down a flight a stairs without one scratch! That alone was a great feat. Nadia was great, and would not hesitate to recommend her in the future.

My recent experience with S & Sons went like this:
-During booking, I was asked if I had "a lot" of stuff. I responded that it was hard for me to say what a lot is, but that I'm one person, and I mentioned some of the larger items (e.g. loveseat) that I own. The booking agent, Nadia, said I could get away with one of their smaller vans, "larger than a panel van," and one driver/mover.
-To make the moving process earlier, I brought everything except two large items outside

Do not use this moving company. They are dishonest and should not be trusted with your items. To get your business they arrive at your home, review the size of the move and provide you an estimate that is only one quarter of what they end up charging you. During the move, the owner, Stephan, was continually yelling at me. He was very rude, sarcastic and unprofessional.
The owner demanded I sign his contract before the move even though the contract stated that I checked the truck after the move and none of my items were left on the truck. I pointed out this clause to the owner and told him

One reviewer wrote about the boss man yelling at her that he would leave their stuff outside. Same threat was used on us. Claimed the TV and a lamp were already broken. Same shtick for us. They are listed as accepting credit cards. They do not. When I went to pay with credit he threatened to leave my furnishings in the street. The packing was a shambles. Old broken down boxes stuffed to overflowing then taped over. Two guys showed up when four were agreed upon. I have had many moves. This was far and away the worst. Intimidation and carelessness is not what anyone would ever want from a mover

I would NOT recommend these movers-
They were very slow and inefficient, extremely rude and, expensive and careless with my items. They showed up in flip flops, to move a 1 bedroom apartment .
They were NOT careful- they scraped the paint off my freshly painted walls in two places, cracked the wood at the foot of my sofa, broke my printer. I had packed boxes clearly labeled "fragile" with labels on the top and found the boxes upside down and sentimental pottery broken inside (despite having been wrapped in bubble wrap).
The move took 2 hours longer than they had predicted. This cost
