At Lisa Labute Law Office, we can help you with child support, spousal support and negotiations regarding ownership of property. Our founder, Lisa Labute, has served as a barrister and solicitor in the Windsor region for over 30 years. In the event that you cannot afford a lawyer and have few resources, you may qualify for compensation for some or all of your legal expenses. Now, you don't need to give up your hope as the federal government supports low-income families with legal aid programs that can be used to pay all your upfront charges, including the lawyer's fee.
If you're gearing up for your first legal consultation, you might not know what documents to bring to explain your case in the right manner. We recommend you read the following FAQ before making a visit to our office. If you have other questions, feel free to contact us today. We'll make sure that we are prompt in getting back to you.

THE WORST LAWYER, EVER! Don't waste your time with her, Cassandra always has an excuse for not being working on my matter, always!! if you use legal aid don't waste your valuable time with her, except 0 results. After I read all of her bad reviews, I wanted to give her a try and NO, the worst decision I ever made. RUN !!

Lisa did settle a family law matter, which I respect, but.....once our house sold, it took 5 months to receive the complete amount owing to me..... after excuse upon excuse....the book keeper did not see my note, the book keeper could not find the trust account cheque book, the book keeper was sick, the book keeper did not come in, I feel this is poor buisness, if you want 5 stars, you must do all you can to succeed, and after discussing with the assistant on the phone, I was very calm but with known frustration, she hangs up on me.......... I do not recommend this business at all, there are many

One of the least professional lawyers you will meet. That attitude bleeds into her staff and they are either rude, conveniently forgetful, or outright delinquent. If you have money and pay up front they will do a better job, but if you are a lower income person and use legal aid, expect little to no work to be done on your behalf. Horrible.

November 17, 2016 I went in for my consultation and the next day (November 18, 2016) I brought in a certified cheque for my retainer. During that time I called almost every 2 weeks or so to see what the status of my seperation paperwork was, each time I was always reassured it was on her desk waiting for review. "The moment Lisa" was able to get to it I was surely to receive a call to bring me in and sign, we'll I would not be writing this review if that happened. After hearing this for 2 months I decided to contact another lawyer and on Feb 6, 2017 had my consultation with that law firm and again
