I asked for a room close to the elevators due to my son using crutches and he gave us a room at the end of the hallway

We were asked to leave by a waiter named Mark because he was told that he was being a rude server , which he was, he invaded my friends personal space , physically touching her and lowering his mask to speak to her while sitting directly next to her. He accused her of being demanding and refused to allow my friends to order take out for their… spouses just because he was told he was being rude as a server. He was very condescending and when called out on not maintaining covid procedures he basically called us liars. We then asked for a manager and were told there wasn’t one . Completely

The lounge and Timbers restaurant was open during covid which was a pleasant surprise. Cathy our waitress was fantastic. We had 10 in our group which kept her hopping. The hotel is central to the main highways, gas, LCBO and food outlets.
We stayed for 3 nights...all had a great time riding the area. Valhalla is bike friendly.

We stayed here for a week as home base and appreciated the staff, food and cozy accommodations. It's an older hotel, so adjust your expectations - it's been somewhat renovated but has missed a few things. (Room 517 has a big, long bubble in the rug; annoying to us, but could be a danger to the unsure-footed.) We enjoyed our stay, nonetheless. Going for Amethyst Class is worth it for a longer stay for the free hot breakfast at Timbers every morning. Eggs Benedict most mornings and omelettes on the weekends. The staff is fun and the food was pretty darn good-real cheese in their huge

The hotel is nice. Service is very friendly. Nice amenities. Free hotel shuttle to/from the (very nearby) airport. Near a gas station and a Walmart. I'd stay here any and every time I stay in Two Harbors.

Ok. At best. Right now their food staff is running an hour late for a banquet. Kind of irritating. If you have an event stay on top of them.

Found a deal on Expedia for 20% off. Took the deal and now are disappointed. Room needs serious updating. If you want an updated room, you need to pay more.

Our room was clean but old 80ish looking. Room was stuffy at first and then had to call maintenance to have them figure out how to cool it down and let some fresh air in. Had to run to Walmart across the street to get a fan. -1 Star

Granted we left a bit later in the morning then usual, our room was never serviced. No clean towels or garbage removal. Had to call housekeeping for assistance. -1 Star

Advertises best hotel in Thunder Bay.
Advertises all kinds of amenities and here is what we experienced.
Check in was cold and unprofessional. I even had to ask which way to the elevator. No orientation like, this way to the restaurant etc.
Booked in Amethyst class and got to room to find bathroom ceiling falling down. Beaten up furniture, USB port doesn't work, bed like a rock, old tattered bedding, office chair wouldn't roll, no robes, cheap toiletries, moth eaten shower curtain, no ice bucket, paper cups, plastic glasses, ancient clock radio, requested a second luggage rack and

My biggest complaint is that when we checked in, the clerk at the front desk told us that there was a complimentary breakfast. Well....that didn't exist. The "buffet" was terrible, the pancakes were hard as a rock, bacon and sausage under cooked and the scrambled eggs not even edible. When we were getting ready to leave is when we found out we had to pay for our meal that cost $31 for two people. We spoke to a manager and she had the I don't care attitude no big deal to them. I would have much rather eaten at subway down the street for that price and the quality of food that

Cleaning staff STOLE my jewelry! I left my room for one hour for them to clean and came back to a clean room and my jewelry box was empty. I called the manager and she said I had to call the police to start an investigation. She was so unkind and did not care. As much as this was her cleaning staff who did she she was not friendly more defensive. It's really really sad to be honest. I was in town for a funeral and to make matters worse I got robbed. They hotel doesn't have a safe so if you want to carry all your belongings with you this is the place to stay! I will never ever stay here

This review is specifically for "the lounge" restaurant inside the hotel. The server was extremely overbearing; checking / interrupting us every 5 minutes. I'm all for checking up on people but that was excessive. Also the server got my meal completely wrong and I didn't want to wait so long again for food. Got our bills early on into the meal ( isn't that usually an after you finish deal?). The lady who greeted us was nice and helpful. Food was mediocre ( other people in our groups food looked decent then to find out later their breads were soggy and salad was less than

Stay here a lot, over the years it has now been updated, esthetically, but still cold showers, air conditioning or heating barely working. Unfortunately this is close to the airport and has a shuttle. Not a great location for food or shopping, and no where near the water. If you have a better choice take it

I stayed here two times in the last 3 weeks, we are on tour with Hedley and had around 30 rooms every time.
It is a huge complex and if you use the wrong elevator you drag your suitcase across the hallways forever.
The rooms are ok the beds are quite old but good enough to sleep in , the bathrooms are clean and ok also. They do have room service and the trays they deliver sit around in the hallways for a long time.
We checked out early in the morning and I payed separate from the group but they still charged the group for the already payed room we had to dig out the receipt to prove that it was

I stayed here for two nights on a weekend with my dog & spouse. The dog was delighted with the room, which had a sliding glass door we could use to go directly to the car and where he could sit and watch the world go by. Although it's next to the airport, we did not notice noise from the planes arriving and departing. We had a suite-style room which included a fridge and a table with TWO chairs where one could eat comfortably. [So many suites still require that one eat a room service order at a desk or a coffee table.]

The staff was friendly. Room service was fine. The food was good
