We stayed here at Cottage#5 for a week. Quiet rustic style cabin, as comfortable and warm as home. Everything in the cottage was extremely clean. The owner was always responsive and thoughtful. We really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely come back.

Confusion at check in, no formal check in. Showed up after three pm had to wait for almost an hour for room to be cleaned. Told it was a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit but it was 2 seperate units. We were a family. That wasn't okay. No information in the units of places to see or where to eat or buy food. No air conditioning. Had to ask for extra towels. 2 towels for 6 people. Rooms were clean and new but no real outlook or view. One room had the garbage bins in front of it. Main house allowed people with pets but some fury visitors like to bark everytime you moved. Again intrusive. Disappointing for

3.75 rate Chinese owned (very pleasant people) some communication issues... decently stocked with necessities. Nice view of bay, handy to beach, helpful staff... a bit run down but serviceable. Would stay again. Issue for us was closeness of smelling greenbin.

Avoid at all costs. If I could give this place a zero star I would. Arrived to find that the location was not on the water as advertised. The host speaks very little English and tries to communicate in Chinese. We were should to cabin 9 and upon walking I could smell mold. Upon looking in bathroom observed black mold growing on the windows, bath tube, shower, and window ledges. Also it appeared as if some had missed the toilet and the urine stain had been left to dry on the floor. When I went into the master bedroom I found more mold on the window ledges. The screen door in the living room was

Judging from other reviews it may have taken a little while for the new owners to get things going properly.. but now everything is great here. The owners are friendly and accommodating. I have no complaints.

We reached here with friends with Marinated stuff and did born fire and grilled it. Enjoy with your drinks, music and food under open sky seeing the stars in the night.
You can book this place on airbnb.
There are lots of mosquitoes and it's a bit chilled place so remember to wear full clothes and take mosquitoes spray along with you.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Given the prior good reviews, ownership must have changed hands. The place is run down, there is barely any water pressure in the bathroom or kitchen (had to shower at a gym in town!) The playground is broken and unusable. Worst of all: our cottage had a gas leak where propane was leaking into the cottage whenever the stove was turned on. The owner appeared to have known about the problem, but did nothing about it! Even after we spoke to the owner repeatedly, his answer was to give us a slow cooker! Left on the second day of a 7-day vacation to another cottage and will never

We have been coming here for the past few years so we booked again this year. ..new ownership..first night could not sleep from all the noise the critters were making under the cottage, and in the morning woke up with no power, so no shower, breakfast so we met the keeper and us told us had called pest control and should be ok for the coming night but my wife and I were not interested after all that and asked to cancel but they charged us anyway even if we told them we were not coming back. Not going back in the future.

Lovely spot! Right off the main road through Stanhope - easy access to the walking path, close to beaches & golf, but far enough up the lane that you don't hear or worry about the traffic.
Play structure & toys for the kids & lots of open, grassy space to play. Dogs are welcome for a minimal fee.
Laundry on site. Cottages are well maintained with stocked kitchens, linens and starters for toilet paper & paper towel.
They come with fresh linens half way through the week & have quarters in hand for laundry.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit 😊
