For a start, we're locals. Almost 30 years ago, when Horton Auto Body & Paint owner, Joyce Healey, took over the business, she was a first in the industry. A woman in a man's world, and from day one her approach to the typical auto repair process has been very different. She has created a professional, high tech workshop where you don't have to be a car buff to understand what's going on.

We are in constant touch with our direct repair insurers to make sure there are no unnecessary delays and we've adopted the latest technology and techniques to make sure you get a quality repair - be it a minor car scratch or fix of a complete write off.One of our friendly estimators will inspect your car, take photos and put together an estimate.

Typically, minor repairs are fender benders, small dents or scratches. If the car is driveable and the damage is not affecting signals, suspension or any critical function of the vehicle it's a minor repair. Car undriveable? It might need major repairs. You are required to report to the police and obtain an accident sticker for any accident where the repairs cost more than $2,000.
Your car isn't driveable, in most cases you will need to call a tow truck. You can nominate to have your vehicle towed direct to Horton Auto Body & Paint or direct to us from the City impound yard. Not quite that serious? It might just need minor repairs. Contact your insurer as soon as possible after the accident.
Yes, you can. Insurance companies have what are called "direct repair" shops they refer to however in Alberta you have the right to take your car to any auto body shop of your choice. Here at Horton Auto Body & Paint we have 8 insurance companies on our direct repair programs and are always adding more.

I cannot stress how satisfied and pleased I was with the service at Horton. Right from the friendly beginning by the reception and the quick shuttle service to get back home, I waited two days for the work to be completed. When I went to pick up my car, I was astounded with the excellent bodywork, and the fact that they detailed inside and out. It was an amazing job.

Couldn't have gone any more smoother! 100% happy with our experience with everybody at Horton! Brad was totally on top of everything and the front desk lady (sorry I missed your name!!) was also on top of everything and kept it all running smoothly! Our paint-less hail damage repair and some additional paint and bodywork turned out perfect!

I had an amazing experience with Horton. I had extensive hail damage to my vehicle, not only were they extremely professional and friendly but they actually fixed my car much earlier than estimated! Repairs are immaculate, and Brad even called me to follow up right after to make sure I was 100% satisfied. Would definitely recommend using Horton.

Was involved in a hit and run, took my truck to Horton . I used them before on my old truck. Very impressed ! Kevin and Joyce and the team did an awesome job. They did all the leg work with the insurance company, which took all the stress out. Being in an accident is stressful, Horton took all the stress out..from renting me a car,to updates really helped. Getting a chance to play with the shop puppy was a bonus. I’m more than happy! Thank you for making my baby’s boo boo better. When I got my baby back...it smelled better than when I bought it. Horrible experience! They made a ridiculous mistake fixing my car (they forgot to replace all the screws they removed) which resulted in the interior light flashing like a disco ball and my locks not working. They repaired it in a July and this happened in September. I took it to my regular repair shop to figure out the problem and they found the missing screws. When I called Horton I spoke to the assistant manager and the manager, both of whom I needed to yell at before they would listen. The manager told me I should have called them as soon as my interior light went on. Right. I take my car to

Stay away! Totally agree with the filtered review posted on 5/27/2010 that says you will get tricked!
They refused to give me a list of the work done on my vehicle. Did not even tell me verbally. I was told all has been forwarded to the insurance company and that basically it was none of my business.
Also prior to leaving my car I had inquired about the warranty but again they refused to give me anything in writing.
Later I go back because the work is NOT done properly and they inform me they do not keep records!! Great!! And they refuse to fix it blaming the damage on anyone and anything but

Wow! The guys at Horton auto body are great! I called them to find out what to do after my car had been hit by a pick-up truck. They said to bring it in, they'd do an on-the-spot estimate and send it to my insurance company. I did that - and it took all of about 15 minutes. A few days later I got a call from them and my adjuster saying the estimate had been approved. We set a date to drop my car off. I had rental coverage - so when I dropped my car off, the guys at Horton called the rental agency who came and picked me up, took me to my temporary wheels - took less than 1/2 hour. My car was
