ParkJanik Consulting Engineers Inc, originally R.C. Park Engineering Limited, was founded in Calgary in 1999 by Rodney Colin Park, P.Eng. Rodney graduated from the University of Calgary with a BSc in Civil Engineering in 1993, started in Structural Engineering Consulting soon after and is well known in the industry for listening carefully to clients' needs to determine the best construction techniques applicable for the project and design accordingly.

ParkJanik Consulting Engineers partners with Investors, Contractors and Architects to ensure effective engineering for their needs. We cover several markets in the sector, including commercial, industrial and residential sectors. We get involved in preliminary design, detailed design, value engineering and project/contract management.
Commercial/Industrial building designed for JimJet in Calgary, with the total gross floor area of 5,500 sq.m. Design included designated industrial and office areas, heavy-duty overhead crane and 12in. ParkJanik Consulting Engineers provided the structural design for the project together with engineering supervision during the construction stage.
ParkJanik Consulting Engineers Inc. was appointed as a prime structural engineer to design the hotel and office buildings for Best Western in Fort McMurray. ParkJanik Consulting Engineers Inc. was appointed as a prime structural engineer to design the structure for Baitun Nur Mosque in Calgary. Construction started in 2005 and was completed in 2008, for the total cost of CAD$15 million.

I'm in the process of taking 2 walls out in my older model townhouse and used Park-Janik.
They came in took a look explained some terminology to me and were very confident they could make it work.
Less then 24hours later I had a very easy to follow and well laid out drawing from them.
Highly recommend these guys and they have fair pricing as well.
